thats a pull up not a chin up, and wide grip ones are the "worst" kind in my view as they have less of a range of motion......test it....hold one arm up at the wide grip posistion and put ur other hand on to that lat, then move ur arm up to a narrow grip and feel the difference in stretch across ur lat...u may find that works better.

These are wide grip 'pull ups' not chin ups. (seems like neither of you know at the end of the video...and the title is wrong also).
