word of advice - don't settle for anything less than a free consult and a printed quote with all the fees and procedures disclosed upfront. i know every scumbag dentist in my area. some offer a free consult, some make you commit to a CT scan, model, panorex, and then come up with a treatment plan you can't afford. but because you already out of a almost 500-800 you feel like you need to commit especially if they apply some of it towards treatment. scum.

YES it looks painful but many people I know got this done and said it hurts after but with antibiotics and pain medication, the pain is only mild....not extreme and in the long run, the whole process is worth it. Just find a REALLY reputable and good oral sugeon & a great dentist because you do most liekly have to go to both for this. But its worth it and worth every penny.

like people say.. its unbelievable what humans are able to do.. there is a gas that 96.8 percent of the dentists have in the US that will be spread into ur mouth and you will not feel a thing.. like... its like u dont have a mouth for 3 hours. I've takin this procedure and I was scared out of my mind.. but actually I had a 2 hour sleep and my teeths were good to go! Gotta love dentists.

this is a varry bad idea and the resin it took so long to come to the us is cus of it. you can get metal posining and even get jaw rot or worse of all have your jaw breat when installing them. and on top of that most people complan of mad pain and end up haveing to take pain pills the rest of thare life. also most of this is stated in the contract in fine print if you read thare discloseure.

My dental work was done by students in their residency. Certified, cosmetic dental surgeons oversaw my procedures. At NO given time was the student left alone to do ANY of the procedures by his/herself. The main problems about going overseas is the language barrier for number one, substandard equipment and tools, and post-operative complications. Some countries use out of date procedures and unsanitary Medieval tools.  India, for example, does not aesthetically do pleasing work. Don't do it

I was awake the whole time in the operation(got shots of course) but afterwards I just took the pain pills the dentist gave me and I never felt any pain. 4 pills a day though

@Yowzoe Whatever you do, do not go overseas to get this procedure done. I live in Columbia, SC and what I did was contact the local dental college. I needed to get an implant bridge, front implant, 6veneers, composite, and a bleaching. In the private sector it would have costs 18,000+, but through the dental school, it only costs $5,800 dollars. See if you can get an appointment with your local dental college. Mine turned out great!!!!!!!!!!!! I now have a PERFECT SMILE !!!!!!!!!!!

I need another root canal, and have two *more* cavities. The culprit may be old, bad fillings. I now use a waterpik constantly.
