This isn't racist, it's a cartoon representation of the old jazz clubs. Yes, the performers are black. Did you ever think it's to pay homage to the many, many black performers? Think Louis Armstrong, Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Scott Joplin, Duke Ellington, Earl Hines, Count Basie, Thelonious Monk, Dizzie Gillespie, John Coltrane, Wynton Marsalis, and the list goes on & on. If you want racism, see almost every rap video. Let's not "see" racism where it doesn't exist. Let's not hatemonger.
Nice version of the song. Although, a few of the original chords are missing...still nice to see that someone is keeping it alive. The comment about it being "racist" is complete garbage. I Love To Singa was performed back in 1936 by Al Jolsen and Cab Calloway. If it were a rasist song, Cab would not have done it!
@toooop9 What about the black people in the cartoon is racist? All of the characters featured are exaggerated to make it fun. (Notice as the guy walks into the "Blue Note Club" and the white couple at the first table looks as if they are mobsters!) I think that the black people look very cool...and don't think that there were ANY racist intentions at all. We can agree to disagree because I see the video as a "period piece." I will send you a new version of the song that you will love.

Shouldn't it be a "cheer for Uncle Sammy"? Those early immigrant song writers were patriotic. Sad their decendants are not so.

@BardCoennius Whoops...guess I was wrong. Lyric by Yip Harburg and music by Harold Arlen (who later did the score for "Wizard of Oz")
