It easy for any good pianist to play without even seeing his Piano BUT for only one good reason -> That pianist has his piano so many times that he knows it but for that Child , never forget he never had even a small vision of what instrument he's playing !!!

I think so too, I was a savant too, no kidding. but when I filled my 6th b-day, they say that I began to lost my drawing talents. Well around when I was a savant we were poor, no little food, public schools and no~little lunch food. But when life began to be good for us, my "handicap" as you said disappeared.
