It's much more intense than your standard tear. It makes sense that she's in this much pain, because her knee basically just exploded.

@the1kamikaze Chair umpires are notoriously stupid when it comes to player injuries. They stand around looking like morons for a second, wondering if they should summon the sports physician. Given that summoning the physician never disqualifies a player, it should be done for ANY potential injury. What's the worst that could happen? We miss a commercial break? Given that Mary was screaming in pain, that umpire needs to be shot. Obviously the match was over.

Probably the worst response to a sports injury I've ever seen. In football (soccer -_-) as soon as the player goes to ground and sticks his hand up, the medics SPRINT to the pitch and would stabilise the limb, provide oxygen if necessary. Here she's clearly seriously injured and the officials crowd around her like she's some kind of wounded animal. Terrible.

I worked with a retired RN....She had been a trauma nurse for 15 years before moving into the maternity ward to finshish out her last 10 years. She said women by far have alot more tollerance for pain and usually waited much longer to ask for more pain medication. I had my left acl reconstructed 6 weeks ago and I'm currently working hard with rehab so I could get back to playing soccer. It's so terrible to hear her scream and it's awful that it happened to her. I still can't get the memory of the moment of my injury out of my head. This thing leaves a tremendous scar especially psychologically. Can't think of a worse injury than that.

I screamed just like her too, it felt like it relieved the pain or something...It's also anger.. It hurts very much also psychological, because you're in pain and at the same time you feel helpless, match is over and know you're injured for months.. I always thought I would recover but I never truly recovered from my injury, I was 18 then, now I'm 28 ;'(
