I'm from a rural area in Kentucky. I enjoy the sounds of the cicada. Don't bother me one bit. Love the sounds of frogs in the rice fields at night too. That shit puts me right to sleep.

I actually miss having cicadas around. The noise reminds me of my childhood back in New York. We used to find their their little exoskeletons everywhere.

I like cicadas :P Their sound is kind of soothing, and while I'm afraid of most bugs, they don't really bother me.
