efectivamente tengo la mala fortuna de haber adquirido una inspiron 1520, y no funcionan en ella aplicaciones elementales como "Age of Empires III", mientras que modeolos anteriores y de menor capacidad si corren a la perfección el programa (por ejemplo inspirion 700m, o 6400 por citar algunos), Dell tiene la dolosa conducta en latinoamerica de culpar al Vista, por que en el xp si corren, lo cual es absolutamente falso, mienten deliberadamente

It is not a Problem, because you are starting your computer for first time and it did happened to me once then it was allright!

if you change some setting in bios, it will make the computer run that slow at the start.

i got mine in blue , centrino dual core 140hd and 2gig ram with a nvidia g8600gt graphics card for £600 but the microphone dosnt seem to work.Anyone know why?

It is some kind of bios checkup. It only happened once to me. I was scared too, but then, all the next starts were a lot quicker.

As you can see, it is the first time he turns on his 1520, that's why that bios phase took that long.

it does that on the first start up its normal after the first start up it gets fast boot up
