I used to have fun taking boarding passes away from wise asses like yourselves who taught they could walk through my checkpoint, threaten me with lawsuits, saying " yeah yea yeah i know the drill " well if you know the drill then why stop and lecture me on how to do my job? I once took 3 boarding passes away from a family who began to shout threats and disrespect me, the male in the group said u cant take our boarding passes away? I took them, called the airline to have them reschedule them!

These guys have just as much authority if not more than a Police Officer and they have every right to have u arrested or take your boarding pass from you so dont push them! When i was an agent there was a 6 yr old boy I patted down as a random because he stopped at the walk through metal detector and began to cry, i knew there was something wrong right there and then, all the people in line including his father taught I was a jerk for doing this but after my pat down of the young boy and patting down his crotch my instinct was correct, there was a 6 inch blade by his crotch and guess what ? It was his dads, his excuse? I dont trust anyone on board after 9/11 WHAT!

When she landed in New York, the officer basically did the same thing, only they actually handcuffed her and kept her in detainment for a couple of hours. @llouldeng How was it violated? You don't have to agree to a pat down. You do realize that it's not just TSA who set the rules and require the pat down. FAA and the airlines had a huge part in the rules. If the TSA person finds anything during the pat down such as a concealed knife they notify the police and the airline, then they decide what happens. In most cases the airline will not allow the person to board the plane. No matter what you say flying is not a right, show me where it is.

Form what i heard you dont have to be patted down. You can either take the scanner or be patted down. The scanner is only a x-ray, they cant see anything. Also, that woman probably felt embarassed and violated at the same time. My friend's cousin was returning from studying in Cincinatti. When she landed in New York, the officer basically did the same thing, only they actually handcuffed her and kept her in detainment for a couple of hours. The reason was because they thought she was lying when she said she had nothing to hide.

@llouldeng How was it violated? You don't have to agree to a pat down. You do realize that it's not just TSA who set the rules and require the pat down. FAA and the airlines had a huge part in the rules. If the TSA person finds anything during the pat down such as a concealed knife they notify the police and the airline, then they decide what happens. In most cases the airline will not allow the person to board the plane. No matter what you say flying is not a right, show me where it is.

Form what i heard you dont have to be patted down. You can either take the scanner or be patted down. The scanner is only a x-ray, they cant see anything. The pat down does seem uncomfortable but its not like she is sexually harrasing the women. Everyone would complain about security, and how anyone can waltz by without being checked. This is the outcome now. I'd rather be "groped" than have any more trauma be done to this country.
