I just heard an interesting stat: Since the inception of the Wild Card in '95 the Red Sox have won the division title just 2 times in 17 years: 1995 & 2007. The Yankees in that same time frame have won the division 12 times: 1996, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2009, 2011. I'm not a Yankees nor a Red Sox fan. Just a baseball fan who thought that stat was a good one.
I'm a sox fan, but honestly this year they deserved to lose. Had no passion, and they were selfish players this year, and very embarrassing for Boston fans.

Frazee was never in any financial trouble and that musical didn't debut until 1925, 6 years after the sale happened. Not to mention Ruth never would've been able to reach 715 HR with his struggles hitting to Old Fenway's deep RF. If anything, Ruth should've been sending Frazee Christmas cards every year.
