  • Hello can you tell me the clinic you went?! Do you know justmake clinic?! I heard that is pretty famous in Taiwan the appear often in tv programs. Please answer me and thank you !!

  • Hi, what's the crease height you did? Really hope you can answer my question as i'm really considering doing this surgery as well. Thanks in advance :)

  • Does it feel weird or like different? Or do you have to get used to it?

  • @bealundin It definitely felt weird at first because I can feel the crease. But after 2 months, when the swelling completely went down, it felt normal. Or maybe my face just got used to the creasey feeling...

  • how do you remove the stitches by urself? i thought you had to get it done by the nurses?

  • how painful is it???

  • it dont look natural... but ur really pretty

  • awsome video thankss :)

  • it looks very nice :) the swelling has gone down a lot on you

  • hello i am getting my surgery done in asia during spring break but i just wanted to know if you have to cut it if you have a lot of skin? Cause i don't think i have a lot of fat but just skin. And i have tired tape before. also how long did the bruise to go away?

  • can you do an updated video on your eyelids since they aren't swollen now? I would really appreciate it

  • the line is too far from the skin...

  • thank you so much for this video.. it's been a week since i got my surgery and looking at it for the first time, i freaked, thinking it looked nothing like how it was supposed be.. i thought it was way too large to look natural and hated it, but after i watched this, i felt much more at ease!

i think your eyes look really pretty, even though they're still in recovery.. ;P

i hope all the healing goes well!

  • Thanks for your video :)

  • I have double lids but they are very hooded! I think removing excess skin would be best for me

  • I have semi monolid eyes though I'm not asian....does somebody know what difference makes having parallel double lids in this case? thanks?

  • You asian look all the same and you are jelaous of caucasian or western eyes. Lol, I've got beautiful western blue eyes and you feel so ugly you want to look so like a white person so badly. Konichiwa that hahahaha.

  • @zooropah82 Getting double eyelids doesn't mean you want to look Western, means you want a crease. And you are ugly, don't care that I don't know what you look like, this clearly shows how disgusting, moronic and conceited you are. Making Westerns look bad is all you are doing. Good job.

  • I agree. Last time I checked, white people are not the only ones with double lids or blue eyes. A lot of white people get tans. It doesn't mean they are jealous of black people. We all just want to look good. But a bad attitude automatically ruins good looks. Thus, I agree the other poster is indeed UGLY and could use a lesson in proper netiquette.

  • Thanks for a straight forward, no nonsense, description of the procedure. I'm not Asian, or feel or that matter, but have been curious about this technique and what is involved and why people choose to have it done. Thanks again.

  • how much are the surgery for this?!?! D:< i need it

  • @iEatsZombiez I got it done in Taiwan. I can't totally remember but I think it was around 600 USD. But I think it most likely costs a lot more here in the US....

  • how are your eyes now?? good??? i'm going to do it next month... i'm very nervous!!bty i'm an asian too

  • I love your eyes :)

I'm getting mine done in la next month and really nervous. Haha I'm deathly afraid of surgeries and needles stuff like that. Where did they put the anesthetic shots?

  • hi, i want to do it also, can u tell me how much did that cost?

  • i think your eyelid surgery is not that good compared to others, yours look like overdone ...

  • @HunterThird Her is obviously still in the process of healing. It takes up to a year for it to completely heal, maybe more.

  • @born2act135 It shouldn't take 1 year to physically heal o_o

  • Comment removed

  • @BlueBat101 she video taped this 3 weeks after her surgery...and what i mean by it takes a year to heal is, it becomes more natural looking and completely 100% heal after a year. Dude, trust me, my uncle's a plastic surgeon.

  • @HunterThird i don't think it's overdone.. it's just swollen. it's only been 2 and a half weeks.. it's supposed to take months. i read from a doctor that if the incision is really high up, it's only because it will drop down to a natural looking state later on.

  • What if you have a double eyelid and want a mono lid or want your crease lower and tighter?

  • @SuperSoyaMilk Oh jeez, sorry, I have no clue. I'm sure some plastic surgeon does it!

  • @chicky96734 Ahh man, I'm never been able to find anyone who does it xD

  • @SuperSoyaMilk Thanks though (: And your eyes look awesome (:

  • Are you vietnamese???? Many vietnamese and korean people get their eyes and noses fix.

  • @KImChiRoach hey don't be like that, a lot of caucasians do surgeries too you know

  • @UlzzangMyori , many koreans and mongolians get their face fix before debuting. They are naturally super fulgy.

  • @KImChiRoach MANY KOREANS??! SUPER FUGLY??!! FYI, A LOT OF KPOP STARS ONLY GET PLASTIC SURGERY BECAUSE THEIR COMPANY TELLS THEM TO! MOST OF THEM ARE NATURAL BEAUTIES!!!! LIKE UR MORE BEAUTIFUL THEN THEM!!! TSKK

  • @KImChiRoach ah, filthy jap.

  • does removing the stiches hurt?

  • @born2act135 Suprisingly, no.

  • just wondering that how long does the double lid last? thank you :)

  • @trantrang676 It's permanent! Until your skin starts getting saggy then your lid will fold over. Sometimes if you cut the lid too small once it's done healing and the swelling goes down, it will fold over too.

  • @chicky96734 but i heard that the double lid will fold over after a few years, specially when we get to the age of 40s and we have to do the surgery again!! or is it depend on how good the doctor is? thanks for ur helpful info :))

  • @trantrang676 Yes it does happen! My aunty got her double eye lid surgery when she was in her late 30's. She wanted to go conservative so she told her doctor to make it small. Unfortunately after it healed and when she was 46, it started sagging down and she had to get it redone. It's probably best to cut it bigger and take out more excessive skin. It's also good to find a doctor who doesn't just cut everyone's eyes the same but instead to look at each individual's eye shape.

  • how much was ur surgery

  • this is pretty sad =( / i don think u should be promoting or justifying this surgery/ unless it is some kinda medical condition that forces u to get it done / mono lid, double, triple w/e u have is the way ur suppose to be/ having the surgery or big eyes doesnt make u caucasian/ u should luv ur self for u and feel good about ur self/ ur a beauty regardless of ur eyes

  • @tuffyordanos I understand. I think the important part is that this makes me happy and I'm doing it for me, nobody else. After the surgery, I was so excited that I could put eye liner on my eyes without it smudging (as a monolid, your eye make up doesn't show. Your eyelids fold in and it covers and/or smears all your eye makeup). FYI, I'm not doing it to look caucasian. Not everyone with natural double lids are caucasian. I'm doing it just to have double lids and that's it.

  • @chicky96734 well I'm glad ur happy with it/ all I was trying do was tell u that u didn't need the surgery to be beautiful/ may i ask why u wanted to have double lids? (besides putting make up)

  • @tuffyordanos Thanks :) Well, to tell you the truth, besides the make up thing, (at the risk of sounding stupid), I don't have a solid reason. A close family friend did it for me, so I felt more safe doing it. I think also because in asia it's so common (literally more than half the girls get it done), so I didn't think it was that big of a deal. I noticed however that with caucasians, they think the stereotypical asian (slanty eyes, high cheek bones) look is pretty, when its not in asia.

  • @chicky96734 I'm sorry to say but i don't think it's a cultural thing/ i mean the tech to even do this kinda surgery arose nowadays/ the reason i mentioned wanting to look caucasians in the first place was for this reason/ I'm not saying u want to look white but when i observe the asian community, it seems that they are more obsessed with caucasian beauty/ what i mean is the ads and posters mostly promote european looking women/ btw this happens in many communities/

  • @chicky96734 (continueing) overtime we believe it to be true/ this is a very subtle way of brainwashing/ u see a lotta people not feeling good enough or having the need to do surgeries as urs so they can be, what society considers, beautiful/ i bet 50 yrs ago this was not part of the culture/

  • @tuffyordanos I don't understand why you insist, repeatedly, that Asians are attempting to be white. Other races have double eyelids--including Asians. The double eyelid is not exclusively a Caucasians characteristic. Is it that you're white, and you're trying to establish yourself as the "ideal" for beauty standards? Why can't the ideals that Asian culture promotes be purely Asian? The surgery leads to eyes that are more open, but are still obviously Asian. Why can't that be a beauty ideal?

  • @loonettez damn girl( or boy) why r u so bitter/ first off, u need to read my comments and understand what i mean b4 u even respond aite/i am a black woman thru and thru/ i specifically said it happens in many communities, which means not just the asian community/ and if my goal for even commenting on this video was to establish white as the ideal beauty standard, then y the fuck would i tell u that u r beautiful THE WAY U ARE, an asian woman ( or man)/

  • @loonettez (continuing) and the asian community promotes european featured women on their ads and media to set the beauty standard/ ( which happens in other communities also) all around the world/ and the thing i said about culture, which u clearly misunderstood again, was to respond to chicky96734/ and asian eyes don't need to be more open in order to be beautiful/

  • @tuffyordanos I'm not bitter, I'm irritated, "aite." And why are you cursing? Calm down.

It's nice for you that you're confident with yourself. But I think it's rude to call people's decisions to alter their appearances "sad." This girl didn't need the surgery, but it made her happier. If she regretted the procedure, I'd think it was sad too. But she seems quite satisfied. Does emotional health not matter at all to you? And note that I say emotional health, not spiritual.

  • @loonettez yes i thank God he has given me the confidence/ i still believe it's sad that beautiful girls like her are victims of delusive ways of what society portrays to be beauty/ and if i didn't care then i wouldn't have told her that I'm glad she's happy with it/ so don't just attack my views without knowing what i wrote/

  • (Continued) And what else are Asians doing that make you believe they are trying to be white? Though you may not be aware of them, Asian culture does have its own set of beauty standards, and they aren't "to be white". If a large number of Asians were undergoing surgery and then looking absolutely no difference than a white person, I would agree and say that Asians are trying to emulate Caucasians. But that isn't the case, so I really don't understand your arguments. At all.

  • (sorry there's a character limit) So Lucy Liu, for example, would not be considered "beautiful" in asian standards. Honestly, I think it's more of a cultural thing.

  • @tuffyordanos It's not sad. Generally, people who get this surgery aren't trying to change their ethnicity. Having monolids can be annoying. As mentioned, it's hard to wear make-up. Also, monolids can make a person look tired or angry (I have a problem with the latter). It's unfair that people accuse Asians who get this procedure of wanting to be caucasian. Does she look caucasian to you? Not at all. So how is this different from any other cosmetic surgery?

  • @loonettez u r completely correct/ this isnt diffrent from any other cosmetic surgery but that is my point, ppl now a day get all these unnecessary surgeries/ and companies justify them just so they can sell their makeup products/ im just trying to tell u guys that ur beautiful the way god made u/ and of cource she doesnt look caucasian( which was also my point) just dont gp thru all this just so u can put on make up/ and for the matter of looking tired/angry can be solved by other means/

  • @tuffyordanos First, not everyone believes in a god, so I think it would be fair to keep the divine out of the argument. I understand the idiom, but I don't believe any supernatural being made me look the way I do.

Second, you might not be so adamantly against plastic surgery if you had the same problem or the same feelings. A week or two of discomfort is well worth the confidence and happiness that accompany the surgery.

So, do you have suggestions to make monolids not appear tired or angry?

  • @loonettez well now i can see why u have such insecurities and lack of confidence/ u should renovate ur spirit before ur flesh/ i might not have the same problem but i do know the feeling, but unlike u, i have great faith to overcome it/ and the confidence the u attain is incomparable to such futile surgery/ maybe u should try it/

and for not looking tired or angry, u should do the research of face creams. u should also get a good nite sleep, and most importantly smile =D God bless!

  • @tuffyordanos Please don't preach your spiritual beliefs to me when they're blatantly irrelevant to the argument. You believe in God; good for you. Don't tell me to believe in a god, too. It's pushy and irritating. My "spirit", if you believe in that sort of thing, is fine. Faith in a divine being will not give me confidence. And I get plenty of sleep and have done research on/used face creams. Anything else?

If you choose to respond, don't make it a religious argument. Thanks.

  • @loonettez everything is relevant to God/ and it's true whether u believe it or not/ and how would u know ur spirit is fine if don't even believe in it/ and confidence... u need to work on the inside and ur self esteem before trying to fix the outside/ cuz if ur insecure it don't matter how many surgeries u get// and i wasn't joking about smiling/ it will honestly help u look and feel better/ thats all the advice i can give u sister ( or brother)/

  • @tuffyordanos I'm just going to stop wasting my time, because obviously I can't say anything without you preaching your religious beliefs to me.

  • @loonettez how is what i said religious?/ nvm i don't think we will ever see eye to eye on this/

  • OMG I love your eyes! Would love to have surgery too but I am too chicken.. which doctor and where's the clinic that you went for?

  • @RachyK8 I totally know how you feel. But you should just go for it and never look back! It's totally worth it, I think. I had it done in Taiwan, don't remember the doctor's name exactly cuz it was in chinese but he was family friend

  • How old were you when you had the surgery?

  • @summitgurl 24. I would've done it earlier if I wasn't so chicken!

  • can you post a picture of BEFORE the surgery? and how much was the surgery in Taiwan (in US dollars).

  • @maroonlinedpaper my surgery was 20,000NT which was about $600 USD. I'll try to find a picture and sent it to you. Prior to double eyelid surgery I was wearing tape everyday (for the past year I think) or I would use liquid liner and draw it so it looks like I have bigger eyes... so I gotta dig for some really old pictures. But when I find one I'll def send it to you!

  • Thankyou for your video! I think you talked about it very nicely and very well explained. I did the surgery 3 days ago, hoping to heal soon ^^

  • @jukinha2284 thanks! :] close to done healing, hang in there!

  • im in love wit ur eyes <3

  • @TheBrokenCandy thankss~~! ^_^

  • omg im in love wit ur eyes!!!
