So many weird plays by LSV, would like to know his reasoning behind them 'cause some just seem bad to me.

at about 7:12 into the video LSV tapped a fetchland for mana in order to use the Pernicious Deed. i'm sure he didn't do it on purpose, but funny none the less.

He is totally paying attention. He Had dismember in his hand, so he wanted to check if there was a 3 on top. Unfortunately the spell that he could cast was standstill, cause he had the basic island, so that what he could cast, to check de CB, and also unfortunately, that resolved. but if he had cast the dismember before the standstill, CB would have fliped Mirran Crusader and he would have auto lost the game, cause the only way to beat the magus is with dismember.
