Not really, if you have a low-rate pc be sure how many GB of memory it has, to play Spore you need 4 GB of memory for the game and extra memory for your creations. Also be sure to have DirectX3D in your computer, if you don't you can dowload it free from the Microsoft website. I have a low-rate computer and this worked for me.

There is a money limit but you can have infinate creation ability if you put in a cheat but if it exceeds the complication meter you cant use it.

I think you got the SPORE Creature Creator. It doesnt allow you to make vehicles or buildings. You need the SPORE game. Not the SPORE creature creator.
