Greetings: Would some kind German fellow help me in my question: I have a German soldier's WW2 cigarette case. It is badged with the Eagle and Swastika. It is made of nickel silver.
The soldier's name and address is inscribed on the inside of the case as follows:
Eitel Shultze, Bulach, Deimling. I have looked up Deimling it has about five houses, so I assume Bulach was his house or farm? Also inscribed are the words 'Donaueshin gen' any Ideas are most welcome.

Im Umkreis von Landsberg gab es insgesamt 11 Konzentrationslager als Außenstellen des Hauptlagers Dachau bei München. Gegen Ende des Krieges wurde ein Teil der Rüstungsindustrie in unterirdische Produktionsstätten verlagert. In den umliegenden 11 Lagern sind ca. 20.000 Menschen durch "Vernichtung durch Arbeit" ermordet worden. suche.buergervereinigung-landsberg.

The British and Americans discovered them in Germany over the two days 12th 14th April 1945. Bergen Belson being liberated by British 21st Army group.

"Band of Brothers" was conceived by Shakespeare at the end of the 16th century, equally making "your" band of brothers a "band of actors". Nonetheless, history doesn't tend to view Shakespeare as "uncopyable". In fact, I'm told his works are considered something of classics.

If I am reading your question correctly by comparing Obama from the start of his term to know I have to say he is doing alright. Obviously he hasnt done everything he has promised but he has done some good an has been an average president.
Personally I am a Republican and don't agree with a lot of his policies but only time will tell and at the end of the day I just want America to be successful.

Just the type of answer I expected ;). Over here we were nearly only hearing bad things about him. But I think he does his job not really bad but also not really good. I hope he will transcript all the things he promised, for the United States and for the whole rest of the world.

@huskersfan1 The Soviet Union murdered tens of millions of people, including an (attempted) genocide of the Ukranian people with a least 6 million victims ("Holodomor"). Nevertheless the Soviet Union got support by the USA even before formally being a participant in the war ("lend-lease-act"). Therefore, I don't understand why the USA feeling morally superior. Not to speak of the millions of Germans who lost their lives AFTER the "alleged" end of the war... :-(

Das Kommentar ist an diejenigen gerichtet die uns Deutsche immernoch als Nazis bezeichnen. Nicht an alle Amerikaner (sind mitunter sehr nette Menschen). Was irgendjemand daraus interpretiert, interessiert mich nicht.
