The last time Dean had to sing on tour the singer was losing his voice and was never the same. I had heard that Pineda is having trouble with his voice as well and now I see that Dean is singing again. ...... HMMMMMM .....

Where did you hear that Pineda is having voice troubles? It honestly wouldn't surprise me because every time he sings a Perry classic you can hear the strain in his voice as he tries to hit the high notes. Abusing your voice like that will definitely cause long-term problems.

Deen has a good voice, and does a decent job. This is a tough song to sing. Arnel has a great voice too, but the fact that it takes more than one of them to cover all of the songs Perry did with Journey is a testament to what an incredible talent he was. Just compare this video to Steve Perry singing it live and you'll see, especially on the last note. Truly a shame they that they couldn't stick together.

This is one of my favorite songs from the very first Journey album I ever bought...Escape! Deen is a great drummer and a fantastic vocalist. No disrespect to Steve Smith, but Steve Smith never sang a Journey tune live. With Deen and Arnel, the boys are back!
