The only free speech issue that is at play here are the Muslim students acting like animals and interrupting the speech of the good Ambassador. These barbarians are the one's who were obstructing free speech and not allowing the Ambassador to speak at the event. It is not disputed under the letter of the law that the free speech issue is not with these thugs, but against them as they acted uncivilized. No one disputes this.

I'm not Muslim and honestly, at first I though, wow what disrespectful "protestors". But now I'm thinking the Ambassador and UCI faculty are being disgusting. They didn't want to hear what the Muslims had to say as much as the Muslims didn't want to hear what they had to say. You can't just arrest someone for disagreeing with you. They weren't even violent. They didn't threaten anyone or use swear words. All they did was plainly express their disapproval.

I understand that some of the students, who protested, are looking forward to jail time. Where is the jailtime and deathpenalty for the killers and maimers of the unarmend palestinien civilians? Where are the same consequences for the israeli government officials who give the orders to commit those crimes, and the ones, who supply them with the weapons? If there is a poster people for an abused people, the palestinien people fit very much the description.

Freedom of speech: The Israeli Ambassador has freedom of speech as well and these students were impeding on his rights to speak. I am not saying that the Irvine 11 shouldn't have said what they did, but it is the WAY they said it that was bad and completely uncalled for.
