i remember this stores in north jersey and new york its a shame thay closed up my mother and other members in my family use to take me there it was 100x better then any toys R us store i when to toy R us about 7 years ago looking to see if thay had any nice RTR o gauge train sets thay had nothing but crap there
wow- remember when they used to actually put effort into commercials, like this? write jingles? quality animation? man- good stuff. And what people are saying in the comments is right- they did re-air it many times. Nowadays, however, 90s+, companies don't re-air after a year, because that's when royalties kick in, and it costs less to just make a new commercial.
They need to still air these warm commercials!

I like this commercial,but remember seeing it 86,not 89.Prehaps it was re-aired.

I know it was my childhood so the comment is probably biased but they just don't make great holiday commericals like this anymore.

No it's not biased,It's true.The 80s had some great holiday commercials.Especially compared to today.
