What he wrote and did nobody was really doing and infact became the Marilyn Manson of his time. Parents didn't understand the anger and hate in his songs and thus objectified him to being reasonable for things that Nirvana couldn't possibly have any control over. I completely agree with you about Amy Winehouse though. Her death is a tragedy to music.
