Thanks for this tutorial. I'm actually trying to replace the entire housing of the phone. I notice that there are the circular pads on the back of the phone when you turned it around. Does anybody know what those are called and where I can purchase them?

@mongmug You must open the unit and check the back of the screen for the correct part number. There is no other way to get the correct part number.

@mast3rchi3f89 Try cleaning your keyboard from the bottom with a tissue paper or use Rubbing Alcohol as a last resort. Otherwise get a new Keypad membrane.

I got a problem that my blackberry bold 9700 in the screen doesn't have any scratches or anything but it doesn't work well. The phone works, but the display doesn't. If you like press the screen on the top-right corner, it works, but only while you have it pressed. any ideas?

@pexx1000 There are different revisions of the screens and they are not cross compatible. You must open the phone up and find out what revision you have and order that exact revision of screen or it will not work.

@Shanahan1412 T-Mobiles stores will not fix phones. They will either try to get you to upgrade or send it off for a replacement refurbished unit and charge you for a replacement.
