But Death Note is realistic in that the police reactions, the investigation, political identities, and the questions of morality are kept real and likely to occur the way they are laid out. Code Geass is far too unrealistic in these matters. An entire militia killing thousands on the word of a figurehead? Suzaku dodging bullets? The world entrusted to teenage gundam drivers? Collective consciousness? Not realistic at all.

And his victory was mainly military; Light had to use his brain every second to keep alive, whereas Lelouch could command a few hundred to act as meatshields. Lelouch created chaos

He used war to create a "peaceful" world, though at the end of the series war still carries on and the only way to achieve peace is more war. And considering that Lelouch had to go whining to CC or Rolo or Suzaku or drugs every 5 minutes, well, duh, Light is better.

And he was weak enough to even turn to drugs. BTW, The ONLY reason Near even SUSPECTED a fake note was because of Mikamis failure.

Lelouch wasn't defeated.
@sharklord CC did save him. She saves him in both episodes 7 and 11. He is defeated by Suzaku in ep 25. he is responsible for thousands of deaths. In R2 ep 8, only Suzaku's foolishness saves Lelouch. The maid person covers for him. In R2 ep 14, he kills innocent women and children. He sulks during 18 and 19. Shneizel outsmarts him during this time, and if he didn't LUCK OUT with Rolo saving him, he'd die.

He was going to go out and capture him, and like wise its unknown if Lelouch would have used he Geass on him, since he hadn't yet already so he had an option up his sleeve. And once again I'll admit Rollo saved him, but there was no strategic way for Lelouch to stop this outcome, since V.V ratted him out, and V.V was Immortal.

@sharklord Continued. Mikami's action of going to the bank twice was in DIRECT OPPOSITION to Light's orders, as stated by Light himself. Light had 3 subordinates, two of whom failed and hindered him. He asked VERY LITTLE of his allies, and they failed. Hence, the EXECUTION of his plan failed. Lelouch had over a dozen elite subordinates, who he asked a lot from. Each one of them executed their duties perfectly, many without Lelouch planning it. This is why he "succeeded" after being defeated.

And once again, the blame game, if Mikami was the main catalyst to light's failure, then so was Kallen to Lelouch, since all she had to do was shoot Suzaku. And if Suzaku defeated him, Lelouch wouldn't have come back again lol. And hes responsible for innocent deaths, so? "succeeded" yes I know he did lol. Its not known he he really needed help in ep.7

Moreover, he was responsible for the deaths of millions of people, and only bolstered oppression and war. And if it weren't for at least 200 people, many with magical powers or immortality, that helped him and saved him and covered for his mistakes, Lelouch would have failed. Light, on the other hand, was completely on his own.

But Death Note is realistic in that the police reactions, the investigation, political identities, and the questions of morality are kept real and likely to occur the way they are laid out. Code Geass is far too unrealistic in these matters. An entire militia killing thousands on the word of a figurehead? Suzaku dodging bullets? The world entrusted to teenage gundam drivers? Collective consciousness? Not realistic at all.

Lelouch failed numerous times and almost died in numerous episodes, only being saved because his allies, like CC and Suzaku, saved him. If he was alone, like Light was, then he never would have succeeded. And his victory was mainly military; Light had to use his brain every second to keep alive, whereas Lelouch could command a few hundred to act as meatshields. Lelouch created chaos

He once used it to destroy over a hundred enemies at once. Light used his brain much more to keep his identity secret; he was competing with L, an obvious genius, whereas Lelouch conveniently slipped out every night without being watched somehow. He took over this 'powerful' empire with a single command

And numerous times, Lelouch thought he had victory whereas he was outsmarted by freaking Suzaku. The Emperor found out his identity at the end of the first season, and considering that he had nobody remotely smart to contend with, this is an epic fail on Lelouch's part. LIGHT NEVER FAILED. Lelouch failed over 6 times, and in his ultimate goal.

The only thing he assumed was that Mikami was as perfect as himself, and considering how simple Mikami's job was, that was no failure assumption. Cornelia and Schneizel are in NO WAY even CLOSE to as smart as L, or Near, or Mello. In fact, Cornelia's pretty dumb. Lelouch couldn't beat Mao without CC and Suzaku's help. Lelouch caused thousands of innocent dead, including Shirley's father, Shirley herself, Rolo, etc. Regardless of goals, Lelouch is obviously the bigger villain. He used war to create a "peaceful" world, though at the end of the series war still carries on and the only way to achieve peace is more war. And considering that Lelouch had to go whining to CC or Rolo or Suzaku or drugs every 5 minutes, well, duh, Light is better.

He was just blind lucky that they sacrificed themselves for him. This proves that Lelouch can't even survive by himself; without others jumping out to save him when he's been DEFEATED, he'd die. @sharklord CC did save him. She saves him in both episodes 7 and 11. He is defeated by Suzaku in ep 25. he is responsible for thousands of deaths. In R2 ep 8, only Suzaku's foolishness saves Lelouch. The maid person covers for him. In R2 ep 14, he kills innocent women and children. He sulks during 18 and 19. Shneizel outsmarts him during this time, and if he didn't LUCK OUT with Rolo saving him, he'd die.

He was going to go out and capture him, and like wise its unknown if Lelouch would have used he Geass on him, since he hadn't yet already so he had an option up his sleeve. And once again I'll admit Rollo saved him, but there was no strategic way for Lelouch to stop this outcome, since V.V ratted him out, and V.V was Immortal.

In battles lelouch needs people to fight with him, since he is a commander, not on the battlefield, Lelouch is fine on his own. I'll admit Rollo saved Lelouch once, but the reason for Lelouch being in that situation was not of his own doing, and Lelouch couldn't kill all the people in the room,very similar how light couldn't either at the end of deathnote=)

@sharklord Continued. Mikami's action of going to the bank twice was in DIRECT OPPOSITION to Light's orders, as stated by Light himself. Light had 3 subordinates, two of whom failed and hindered him. He asked VERY LITTLE of his allies, and they failed. Hence, the EXECUTION of his plan failed. Lelouch had over a dozen elite subordinates, who he asked a lot from. Each one of them executed their duties perfectly, many without Lelouch planning it. This is why he "succeeded" after being defeated.

And once again, the blame game, if Mikami was the main catalyst to light's failure, then so was Kallen to Lelouch, since all she had to do was shoot Suzaku.
