I sincerely hope that they consider video submissions. They've been very exclusive about the auditioning process so far, but there's word that they'll be an open casting. So fingers crossed. Best of luck to you, Dink and remember which direction the enemy's gate is. >:D

Generally, agree with comments below. I think the way you improve your chances (b/c I think it would be cool for non-famous actors to play these roles) are twofold: (1) make a new video, incorporating the suggestions of everyone below -- maybe doing more acting out and ad lib - (2) try to get in contact with actual casting people. Press releases were already released by them, so you have a place to start. Best of luck! (good luck to a fellow debater!)

I'm with you, the Ender Saga is my favorite of all time, all the books are amazing, know them inside and out. I think your audition was great. Definitely some work to be done but I'm assuming you haven't really done much acting before and if that's the case it was beyond solid and definitely good enough that working with professional actors and directors should take care of what needs work. I'd love all the books, both Ender and Bean books, to turn into movies as long as they're done well.

This isn't bad but one thing felt off. After watching it again, your "surprised" expression at 0:05 seemed a slightly off. This issue appeared again around the 1:11 mark. That can be tweaked pretty easily. The rest seemed very good and overall it felt solid.

Aw, i love love love how ...you umm LOVE Ender's Game, and it's soo cool how they are filming the movie where you live. :) I'm not sure if you can really play him. Idk, sorry, but I'm not sure if I can see you playing him. I'm no acting expert or anything, but i'm not really sold. This book is a personal fav of mine too, and i am SO excited for the movie, and I'm freaking out. I really do hope your dream comes true (hehe disney fan), cuz you look like you really want it. :) good luck!
