buy rotosound harris strings, the monel flatwound ones, those are bright but not as the round that youre using... and they sound better in maiden

im not positive what ones he uses. but judging by the sound he gets and by the fact that he put together his own replica of steve harris's bass, it seems like he is quite the fan of steve harris and probible uses steve harris signature strings (they are flat-wounds)

hes not using the steve sig bass but you can very rarely get them on ebay otherwise i think you need to order direct from fender but thats pretty expensive
