Smooooth sounds! I like it! Ive got a mc505 and a Nord too. But f.g.s. put an altenative pattern in between every 30 sec or so that has a wicked percussy change / percussy build up or something like that beause the continues percussy goes a bit like on and on
I think I am getting old, because I tend to be in favor of playing the keyboard, someting like Chick Corea does, for example. I remember, I was always dissing the home arranger keyboards, because they could play accompaniments with one finger. But then lo and behold, Korg Wavestation came out, and the idea of triggering rhythmic patterns with one finger found its way to professional instruments, and it seems to have stayed that way. Nice music, but didn't you miss more involvement in playing?
Really nice track man! But the equipment isn't powered on? Neither the mixer nor the Groovebox. If it was live the leds would be bopping at the mixer and numbers on the groovebox display etc. I'm sure you you've made the track live, but I suspect this video is just playback? :)
you are next to a window the camera is struggling to keep everything exposed correctly leds show up better at night with artificial lighting because although our eyes dont notice this as much as cameras provide very little light compared to sunlight through a window
Really Pluggin Boy ? If you had any clue on how hardware Grooveboxes and Samplers work you wouldn't post stupid comments ,you seem to be the only looser here....
Hi, how are you? Great track, when are you going to release some new ones! I've made a really ambient piece called 'CityScapes' but its got no video on it, Im just trying to work out how to put up an audio on youtube to share it with you. I never got 'Angel In Her' in my email!?
...I watched it twice: what caught my attention was that you are quite reasonable on your simple lines well-putted: they just fit. The thing is: you got good sense and taste: at 0'52'' you got the tone right, then at 1'25'' you launch a pitch line that is used only a few times 'til the end. you just do not exhaust the idea. Good...
Thats a nice smooth track. Your set up seems have nice location on that nice high up table and a nice airy view out of the window. Must be very inspiring. Ever jam looking at night looking out to the stars?

nice track man, try increasing the bpm of the whole track, add a melody in the middle and work on mastering some more, then work your ass off and get an avalon 747sp and tc finalizer 96k ($3000-$5000 together), and then run the final mix through the two instruments, then send it to dj tiesto, and he should like it :)
assuming you have not submitted the track anywhere
well who the fuck would want tiesto to play the track. this sound is far to good for him. you wanna mix this soulful thing in with his toy "trance" stuff?
Because I want to know more about the atmospheres related with music so that i can understand other people better, instead of having to always crack my head thinking of millions of twisted possibilities.
I'd suggest trying out a patch in a nightclub-like an alternative one, as there will be other sets throughout the night, you will only need about 8 songs, and if there about 8 mins each-then only about 6
This is great, you realy have got some great skills at playing-I've just turned 20 and have been playing for about 6 months, Im a solo girl artist-I use synth with drum machines and then put guitar and vocals over it, I'll post when I get a cam
Thanks for your both comments ,it's rare for a girl to be interested in making electronic music and knowing hardware equipement, keep it this way :) I don't have yet a Cd :( but will post some other stuff here.Just sold some equipement to replace with new one...
Sure thing, well I started off on guitar, and vocals, then since I had been a huge Prodigy fan since I was little I started getting into that side of the music, and Trent Reznor from Nin composes all his own stuff with drum machines vocals guitar etc-which I thought was mindblowing-so thats how I started
first off i must say that i really love this track. it has a really good vibe to it, something that is missing in a lot of the new productions coming out. i would like to ask you if i could play it at my gig on the 16th of june. would it be possible to get a promo mp3 from you ? thanx & regards marc

As for the equipement the Mc505 is ssequencing the bass from the nord lead ,drums and pad from d50 ,on sapler theres 2 samples loops ...
alphacode909 4 years ago
also, how did you get the ooh aaaah vocal sound? did you process it yourself from a dry sample? I'd be interested to know what the effects are!!
