  • This was on the WPGZ playlist (Washington DC area) for a few weeks in early '67...I thought it sounded like The Fortunes when i first heard it.

I dug out some old Hit Parade type music charts from back in the day, and this song was on our local Top 50 at one of the more popular radio stations, debuting the week of February 23-29, 1968 at #44. Went to #38 the next week, then slipped to #41 and disappeared after that. I can't say I remembered the song at all, so it was great to find it here.
