Its called a burn off.What you do is this,,,,hold the staff hoizontal between your palms of your hand,then as you throw the staff you pull your bottom hand towards you while the top hand pushes away causing a spin ,this then sprays the parifin causing a burn off,,, be carefull not to get fuel in your eyes while doing it.
