Looks great; you could feed collectd or OSSEC into it for event driven instead of polling (we go collectd -> rabbitmq -> icinga for real time alerts).
@bradya2 thats the eventual plan, it can take inputs from lots of sources like REST and really anything that can write JSON to the queues.
It's a framework - even the mailq results weren't polled, i triggered them via mcollective and they got pushed in parallel into the monitoring system.
looks like somethign I would like, but I am sure my manager won't :)
