I'm pretty sure if the millenium puzzles has been around for thousands of years, considering the corrosion, and everything else that would harm it, I'm pretty sure a fire won't cause any damage. Would take some insane heat to melt something like that.

They're supposed to be made of Gold, I believe.

Gold doesn't corrode, the stuff from tombs in Egypt which is thousands of years old is still as good as new.

Gold does melt at a pretty low temperature (compared to other metals), so from a chemistry perspective, it's accurate.

There are many other metals that are far easier to obtain that don't corrode, but I understand what you are saying. Even if a fire as hot as a warehouse fire it is still unlikly to melt. The warehouse is made of wood which would burn quickly so the temperature inside would not melt the gold.

If anyone hates me for saying this all I've got to say for it is I've the right to say anything I want in a commetn. I've got a very speical OC for Yugioh Her name is Aziza. She a beautiful blind girl who was Atem's best friend and Secret Keeper. In my stories she the one who binded him to the Puzzle. She is always watching over him and Yugi. In my mind she was doing her best to created a magical sheild to protect them but was weakened by the fact the Puzzle wasn't compelte.
