  • oh thats sad. im glad i got to go there at least once to see it. all the pictures from when marciano trained there were right in front of me. i did take some metal as a memory and an old ceiling fixture that still works. do you remember what was the name of the road that the hangar was located? i remember pulling over and seeing it on the top of a hill. about 50 feet higher than the road below. was that airport road?

  • i was there about 5 years ago and i found the hangar off the side of the road. it was sort of on a hill. it was definitely the hangar. not sure if it was torn down since then. when did you guys go there?

  • @peter99ba Peter, that was Oct 08 and I've confirmed this is all that's left of the hanger. I spoke with a few local people who've suggested the top (metal) portion was sold off as scrap. All that remains today is the concrete pad.
