  • @maa240 ey iz doin scince, mah

  • I just noticed the date 9/09/09 ha ha

  • the egg thing was lame:| i did it on easter:P:D

  • I'm so going to win bets with that can!

  • How did you dry the polymer ball??

  • @98JMA Just kind of left it out for a bit.

  • Kitty loves borax!

  • BLUE FTW!!!

  • nice

  • the marbled egg-

add soy sauce instead of food colouring

(and while you're at it- some spices, i like star anise)

and you will have a beautiful egg- much better looking

    and very tasty.

the marble effect will be stronger since soy will penetrate deeper

    because of the salt.

    blue food is for kids...

  • elmers glue works too

  • PVA = Polly vynil alcohol

  • oh yeah, because i have borax lying around my kitchen. >.>

  • oh dont you have it on toast? werid.

  • Actually I just found some in the pantry ;P

  • Um... sweet :3

  • Yeah!! haha! Actually I don't even know what Borax is. :/

  • Its like a cleaning product, but i think people only buy it now for home chemistry.

  • What do you clean with it?

  • Borax is used as ant killer

  • @MortalKombat773 hey sell borax in places like wal mart ad HEB. I is a gren box labeled Borax it is usually found in the laundry detergent section.

  • haha your cat was like.... Hey whats that

  • BORING

  • Why is this boring? I can't think of a better way of getting people interested in science than this - it's interesting and accessible and shows things that ANYONE can do with simple equipment and materials.

  • Lol, cute cat.

    ;D

  • Very cool. 5* :)

  • I thought you are going to dissolve the egg with vinegar at first.however, the result are even more unpredictable!

  • Poor Can :-)

  • Your borax polymer looks like it's easy to crumble. How to make it crumble-less?

  • more glue less borax, probably.

  • You can also use a rectangular aluminum can (like paint thinner comes in), heat it and seal the screw-on lid.

btw I didn't know schweppes made lemonade!

  • Yeah sorry, blatant product placement. :P

  • with the bouncy glue if you mix the glue water and food colouring toghether and Then add the borrax you can control the consistancy better. you also get a better looking result. Try it with a gel type school glue like Elmer's gel and then it's a "clear" bouncy ball, lol

  • haha yea the can thing.. it because the water gas draws the cans sides to the bottom to become a liquid again (: sry if you already said (:

    lol the cat ^^

  • LOL, cat at 4:10!

  • I might try the one that involves borax looks fun.

  • 4:10

    do i see a cat? :D

  • Nice vid.

  • niiice :D
