Sir, I cannot thank you enough. I have failed every balancing equations test for a semester and a half because my teacher sucks ass. You just taught me in 3 minutes what that dumbass has failed to teach me in 7 months.
Wow. I haven't understood a single thing about balancing equations that my professor has said in three weeks, and you explain it beautifully in three minutes. I might actually pass my exam now. Thank you so much!
I swear, an hour's worth of lesson and I just don't understand... If teachers didn't repeat themselves in weird ways that they do and just put up a YouTube video to explain things, school days wouldn't last 6 hours...
Thank you so much!!! I have been struggling with this fo 2 years and my final exam is tomorrow, I was so worried about it but you have just made me completely understand it in such a simple way. I am forever grateful. :D
Seriously. Thank you so much. This is going to save my ass on the final tomorrow. I've been trying to figure out how to balance equations for an entire year, and you taught me how to do it in three minutes and forty-five seconds. My chemistry teacher sucks. You rule so hard, sir.
Omg, dude you're a life saver. I seriously hate my science teacher so I don't pay attention to her. This seriously helped me out. Thanks, your method and video is much more easier to understand than others' i have seen.
Thank you so much for this. I really needed this because im a total fuckin retard in my chemistry class and have no clue what im doing most of the time.
you made it so easy and now i can really understand. i was so confuse in my chem class. i didn't get what my professor was doing at all. but watching this video, you made me understand very well. thanks :p
Because you aren't allowed to have an integer or fraction as a coefficient....therefore you have to multiply the whole chemical equation to get rid of it
oh man, thanks so much. my teacher never showed us any of this chart stuff, she said it was all guesing, and trial and error. damn canadian education system haha
Thank you so much. I just had a moment of aha! too..lol. I can't believe my high school teachers didn't teach me this method...it's so much easier to learn this way with the grid with the products on one side and the reactants on the other.
THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH!!!! I have been having a very hard time with Chemistry and to actually have a "AHA!!" moment after seeing your explaination is wonderful...you did a great job showing us how to do it!!!

So the the coefficient is a whole number. You do not want to have a decimal (i.e. 7.5 ). 7.5 x 2 = 15 (a whole number)

first of all you equation is written wrong. It should reak CaC2 + H2O _-------> Ca(OH)2 + C2H2
The answer would be CaC2 + 2H20 ------> Ca(OH)2 + C2H2
