Sadly I never got to see the Japanese version (every video I have found has had the sync completely out of whack and that totally drives me crazy) so I really have very little knowledge of the Japanese version although I have seen bits and pieces. She still sounds very high pitched to me, brain-scratching high pitched like Marina's. She had an excuse though, she was 12 at the time.

Yeah, they've never reeeally picked a good actress for Jupiter, sadly. Watanabe Mai is my favorite. I know she over-acts and is super dramatic, but she seems to capture Jupiter's persona the best for me. At least she puts charisma and passion into playing her role!

Jupiter's voice is too high for the character. Jupiter's character has never had such a high voice.
