I did not liked James McAvoy as Prof. X. It wasn't bad, but it was bland, it didn't get the spirit that Sir Patrick Stewart put in. It wasn't the best succesor for Mr. Stuart. But, who can blame him?.
I also didin't like Michael Fassbender as Magneto. Magneto in the last movies is a inteligent , rasonable man with plans that he can't break. But, his also ULTRA BAD-ASS!
And he hates humans, that's his plan, destroy humans. Fassbender is just a fucking fag who wants revenge, FUCK HIM!

This movie was great! and here is how to fix the continuity errors and make it tie in! Have professor x become friends with magneto one last time in the sequel. Have professor x project an image of himself walking for the mutants on 3 mile island to follow. @snake2006 If you are are as big a fan of graphic novels you would know that even within the comics over the years character origins and histories have been changed for creative purposes, the question you should ask is have they stayed true to the original concept, and the answer is yes they have, and please which version of mystique are you talking about here? The one where she was the former lover of Prof X, or the version where she is Nigth crawlers mother, there are at least 3 origin stories

I frickin' love this movie! I still haven't seen Origins: Wolverine yet, but out of all the others, I think this was my favorite. It was very well-made, great writing and cast (James McAvoy was particularly great as Charles), and it still maintained that action and the special effects we love without sacrificing the story during those scenes. And (SPOILER ALERT) Hugh Jackman's and Storm's cameos were so well-placed. Perfection, and I don't know how the producers/writers can top this.
I think they should forget about Origins and go on making a First Class based trilogy. Films that are separate from the Singer/Ratner films. The universe is so big, they could explore A LOT.
For example...instead of hinting at sentinels...GIVE US SENTINELS!!!

Loved this movie, just got back from seeing it. The characters are great, story is easy to follow and if you are a fan of Xmen I guarantee you will like it for the most part. You get a full range of emotion in this movie and somehow you get the sense of wanting to better yourself walking away from this movie after watching all these different people overcome themselves and start to believe in themselves. A little corny I suppose but it works. The action was kick ass too.

@Hanniboom Ill give you a thumbs up for being a downer because you are right, but who are we to judge so many people who are stuck in a rat race living day to day trying to stay sane and who spend most of their time letting the TV drain their dreams away...now I feel like the downer :(

Loved this movie, just got back from seeing it. The characters are great, story is easy to follow and if you are a fan of Xmen I guarantee you will like it for the most part. You get a full range of emotion in this movie and somehow you get the sense of wanting to better yourself walking away from this movie after watching all these different people overcome themselves and start to believe in themselves. A little corny I suppose but it works. The action was kick ass too.

oK xmen Was awesome it made me feel pity for magnetto they need this producer and director combo AGAIN it was perfect I cant wait to see The Next I cant wait to see the next. Arent they coming out with a another one in 2012 or 2013? definitly a 10, i dont think it dragged and i have to admit the contunity was a issue but other than that It was awesome.

I went to see this movie last night & it was by far the best X-Men movie ever! Great action, story, actors, etc. Worth every penny to see. I give it a 10 out of 10 hands down. Very well done movie as well as the review of this film.

I think the Kick-Ass being a black eye on Vaughn comment is dead wrong. It was a critically lauded and comic fans embraced it but its rating cut out a lotta of the paying audience

Great, great film! easily 8.5/10. It doesn't feel like a 50-60s era, but I enjoyed it a lot. I love all X-men and Wolverine movies. This one is a must see in 2d. Cameos were nice! PS: was Stan Lee anywhere? Didn't see him...

Great film, hopefully this should make everyone sit up and take notice of Fassbender, I've been trying to tell people about him since "Hunger". Great presence and deserves those textured challenging roles.

I would love to see them continue on from where this one ended. I would like for them to act like the other ones never even existed.
I would also like them to bring in Jubilee, Gambit, and show where Storm came from as well. Oh, and for them to get Rogue right.
Let's hope they got their mojo back.

This movie was fantastic.
It's nice to see this franchise get a breath of fresh air after X-Men 3(God awful movie).

This movie was average. I just didn't like something in it. Prof didn't even meet storm, how can storm steal his wallet if he us sitting. Also prof walked when he met Jean now he is paralyzed. I didn't like prof much in this film, kinda annoying. I liked mystic a lot

In Xmen the last stand...Prof and Magneto met with little Jean Grey and the Prof caN still walk...but in this movie Xmen first class he was paralized at a younger age....

This movie was so silly... The entire plot was weekly thought of... Hey lets give you all code names that fits in perfect at the first try! Oh hey he gets shot in the back but everybody is still busy giving monologues..!! The best part of the movie is wolverine saying "Go F yourself".... That's right. He wanted to stay as far as possible from this movie as he could.

i have seen the movie yesterday, its good but im asking myself at the end you see profx ( im not gonna tell what you see ) ok you remember?... so go back to one of the other xmen movies and you see profx and magneto -walking- to that little girl Jean here house. Jean in xmen III you remember know? so profX walks and is already much older... and then you see the end of xmen first class thats not right is it? if you know what i think im just asking what you people think or am i mistaking me?
