Yep, Cathy Lee Crosby starred in a Wonder Woman TV movie shortly before the Lynda Carter series came out. Not very true to the comics.

Phew - if Crosby can do it then no one better say a word against Beyonce! I never trusted Mentalban, not with Christopher Lee's side kick from the Man With The Golden Gun as the Fantasy Island no 2. "Welcome to Fantasy Island, Mr Bond. I hope you enjoy yourself here, because you will never leave!"

Sorry, but neither Crosby or Beyonce are right for the role. Wonder Woman is of Greek descent -- a member of the Amazons of Greek mythology from the island of Themyscira -- and the daughter of Queen Hippolyta, blessed with the beauty of Aphrodite, wisdom of Athena, strength of Hercules, and speed of Hermes. Her character is so defined by her Hellenic roots, that casting Beyonce just wouldn't work, and the whole story would have to be changed. As for Crosby, she's just too............blonde.

Lynda Carter is Wonder Woman. This actress was good, but ultimately less interesting. Maybe it was the costume. I expected Wonder Woman to climb over the wall and go stop the bad guy. Nope.

Well, she did stop the bad guy heh. He thought he'd get away by rubber boat and she hopped on the bike, raced down to the river dove in and nabbed him, kinda.
