i love this song.......and plus the song being done by a really talented Nallore tamil not some indian tamil nadu tamil you'd expect to be good. I always sing this song whether its in the bath or anywhere.....my favourite carnatic song.

She's already famous and can be more famous. She could be with the likes of Nithyasree Mahedevan and our Tamil (Alaveddy) tavil player called Thedchanamoorthy. He was famed for playing his hand strokes at 60 mph.

I love the music and the singing... amazing voice but i feel sometime the meaning of the song changes when we break at wrong places. I feel it is "nagarājadhara" bearing the great mountain, "nīdu parivārulella" - Is there no one in your family or people around you... Should be a pause between dhara and nīdu. It sound a little different when singers with mother tongue as Telugu sing it. Listen to the version by the great Dr. M.Balamuralikrishna. God bless you.

this is not fusion. Its classical with a simplified beat that would probably get non-carnatic music connoisseurs more acquinted with carnatic music.

ofcourse this is a fusion... it all depends on how u view it... in my perspective this is a fusion which doesn't follow the traditional way. The question i ask u is... what is a fusion then???

As you said "it depends on how you view it" is fair enough. However, a fusion to me starts with a mix of two or more different international music forms. The contrast of Harmony and melody being one of the essential differences of Western and Eastern classical/Jazz music. Fusion tends to amalgamate both of these realms. (ie John Mclaughlin- shakti with L. Shankar), and so on.
