@OceanandRic its a very good program ^^ I recommend it. This video of mine is actually veery old, and I made it in sony vegas 9 studio (which is quite different from pro. I have pro now and it indeed has more functions so yea, you may want that). But if you enjoy this video, then there's quite a bit you can do with 9 studio. Thank you for your comments!
@OceanandRic You can do alot with platinum too, or even the other version of SV. Pro is expensive, like, in the £500 range. But platinum is around £50-90. You can't mask on it, but it's pretty much the same as pro ;o

On sony vegas go to cookie cutter, than u go to the square in the center with the white border, drag it on to ur vid and there should be a pup up. u can resize it whatever then it says repeat x make sure ur repeat y is all the way down then put repeat x all the way up and there u go! ^^

you can just place the 'deform' effect on it (you'll understand which shape to use) and it'll make it diagonal ^^ there's a more complicated way to do it, without deforming the image on the inside, so if you'd like to know that as well just PM me about it
The only tiny little thing that irks me about this vid is the fact I've never seen the anime at all, so I have no idea what I'm looking at half the time because of all the effects.
This video was really awesome! It totally blew my mind, like, totally my eyes are bleeding from all the effects. The beginning I thought was almost (forgive me for saying this) too effect-ey. There were a couple of parts in the video where I could barely tell what was going on. It was still great, but I the style that I think I like best was the stuff that was shown in your first preview video of this. This is just my humble opinion. Still a well-deserved five-star video. :)

First: I really loved all of those buffering, overload, initializing and all that stuff, seriously - that was creative, and I think it really made the video.
Second: The coloring, seriously, it's so intense and it matches the video perfectly - the color red fucking rules, man! ( favorite color, can never go wrong! )...
Another thing that totally rocks is the whole effect that starts at 1:05, with like.. half of the screen you used the push transition while the one side stayed with just like... slow transitions and such. That looked sweeeeeet!

I'm sorry to say, but I didn't like this AMV; It's obvious that you /can/ handle your effects very well, but this video really is a huge effect abuse; you can barely see what is going on in the clips. I believe AMVs should be focused more on lyrics/mood matching rather than the effects. In my opinion, about one-third of all the effects you used in this would be more than enough for this AMV. (I'm not a hater, I'd just like to give you some constructive criticism.)
I think I have to agree. I was starting to like this video, but then I noticed I still had at least two minutes to go. Then it started to get entirely too annoying with the constant use of effects.
well, BAkos, I appreciate your criticism and agree with you on some aspects of it. I acknowledge the fact that there are many effects. However, this was my intention. Had I wanted to focus on mood and lyrics I would have, but I couldn't really emotionally connect with the song and the intensity of the music is distracting enough. For me, it was the only thing that seemed fit. Call it an effect video, if you will.

A.MAZ.ING!!!!! gawd i could hardly blink! loved the fast clips overlaying the slow or the sudden clips in a slow scene, makes me wanna go watch the show! Oh and the split screen with really fast images on one side and slower on the other (great contrasting!) and the end where you had the thin line of flashing clips, and the very last clips, and, well, just the whole damn thing!
I give you a lot of credit for all of the work that must have been put into this. However, in some areas, particularly in the beginning, I feel like you need to exercise a little of what I like to call "effect discretion".
You have so many overlapping, flashing effects at the beginning there, I can barely even see what's going on or who/what I'm looking at. Though I give you all the credit in the world for the incredible timing, I feel it's lost when you can't see what exactly is being timed.

The only tiny little thing that irks me about this vid is the fact I've never seen the anime at all, so I have no idea what I'm looking at half the time because of all the effects.

This video was really awesome! It totally blew my mind, like, totally my eyes are bleeding from all the effects. The beginning I thought was almost (forgive me for saying this) too effect-ey. There were a couple of parts in the video where I could barely tell what was going on. It was still great, but I the style that I think I like best was the stuff that was shown in your first preview video of this. This is just my humble opinion. Still a well-deserved five-star video. :)

Gaaah, forgot to try to comment again ( you know my first comment didn't go through ) - well, I am commenting now, it's gonne be a long one!
First: I really loved all of those buffering, overload, initializing and all that stuff, seriously - that was creative, and I think it really made the video.
Second: The coloring, seriously, it's so intense and it matches the video perfectly - the color red fucking rules, man! ( favorite color, can never go wrong! )...

Another thing that totally rocks is the whole effect that starts at 1:05, with like.. half of the screen you used the push transition while the one side stayed with just like... slow transitions and such. That looked sweeeeeet!

.... Just amazing, but I belive you are aware of that now. This videos has to be one of the best, if not the best effect video I've seen, you kept up with the pace soo damn good, and all this work is incredible. If people doesn't subscribe after seeing this, I'm not sure what their brains are made of. Putting those loading/buffering texts in there was something that lifted up a perfect video even more. Everything looks so damn professional. Thanks for the video faith. One of the best.

I'm sorry to say, but I didn't like this AMV; It's obvious that you /can/ handle your effects very well, but this video really is a huge effect abuse; you can barely see what is going on in the clips. I believe AMVs should be focused more on lyrics/mood matching rather than the effects. In my opinion, about one-third of all the effects you used in this would be more than enough for this AMV. (I'm not a hater, I'd just like to give you some constructive criticism.)

I think I have to agree. I was starting to like this video, but then I noticed I still had at least two minutes to go. Then it started to get entirely too annoying with the constant use of effects.

well, BAkos, I appreciate your criticism and agree with you on some aspects of it. I acknowledge the fact that there are many effects. However, this was my intention. Had I wanted to focus on mood and lyrics I would have, but I couldn't really emotionally connect with the song and the intensity of the music is distracting enough. For me, it was the only thing that seemed fit. Call it an effect video, if you will.

A.MAZ.ING!!!!! gawd i could hardly blink! loved the fast clips overlaying the slow or the sudden clips in a slow scene, makes me wanna go watch the show! Oh and the split screen with really fast images on one side and slower on the other (great contrasting!) and the end where you had the thin line of flashing clips, and the very last clips, and, well, just the whole damn thing!

I give you a lot of credit for all of the work that must have been put into this. However, in some areas, particularly in the beginning, I feel like you need to exercise a little of what I like to call "effect discretion".
You have so many overlapping, flashing effects at the beginning there, I can barely even see what's going on or who/what I'm looking at. Though I give you all the credit in the world for the incredible timing, I feel it's lost when you can't see what exactly is being timed.
