@SirHardcoreMusic It's not very rare in the least. I've mated people use the queen and knight. But you don't have to be in the same exact situation to do this. A lot of variants can lead to this.
That looks like one of my games. I think I've made that blunder before. I was so pissed because I recognized the mate as soon as the bishop took my knight.
Well it will fail if they don't follow your moves :/
