Lugar was something of a mentor to Obama when Barack joined the Senate, partnering with him on the Lugar-Obama Bill on nuclear proliferation. Lugar said of Obama in 2007, "I am amazed by his sheer stamina," and "Barack is studying issues that are very important for the country and for the world."

Same old broken record....Lugar just get you drunken wife off the streets... you got your nerve talking about President Obama's Health care...take care of your own home...

Senator Lugar makes many great points. This administration's #1 priority is nationalized heath care and #2 cap and trade. Huge new programs that means new taxes and higher taxes for every single American, the rich, the middle class and the poor during a recession! The #1 priority should be JOB CREATION! We still have almost 16 million of our fellow American unemployed and waiting for this administration to do something, anything!!!

Mr. Lugar is of course saying we can't afford these large programs during a financial crisis. The previous presidents had their own reasons for not making major reforms. Obama is doing the right thing. He's going to do what others haven't -- put reforms in place now and not give excuses. He believes in the importance of health care and what's more important than health?

One of the corporate representitives that put this country in the toilet and wants us to follow the same path. Put some tape over his mouth and allow those that are trying to fix his mess get to work.
