  • @0pteryx

Thanks for your appreciation! (I disable ratings because I think they are irrelevant, both for the audience and the performer.)

  • technische perfektion geeint mit schönheit....du hast mir das vorurteil genommen, eine mandoline sei nicht vielseitig genug für schöne musik. grüße von einem metal kind

  • Bravo ! ! !

  • Is this an Embergher mandolin

  • @svendbang :

It is an Embergher mandolin model N°6, made by Pasquale Pecoraro in 1978.

  • Technical tour de force. Very nice above the 12th fret.

    Thanks you.

  • Must be so hard to play

  • This is awesome! 5/5 stars easily. Congratuations. Mandolins are definitely in a class of their own. Thank you for the upload.

    Paul

  • genial

  • Very nice, I started playing bluegrass. Now all I play is classical ( on an F!). Nicely done BRAVO

  • I'd like to hear that on an F5. Great performance.

  • very nice ralf

  • please play the whole sonata!!!This is wonderful.

  • Mandolin got how many string?

  • 8 strings (pairs: 4 x 2 strings) tuned in fifths like a violin: G D A E

  • Why not a single string? Can u tell me what is the diffrent and function between single string and pair of string? Is it the string same like classical guitar make by nylon? thanks.

  • the courses(pairs of strings)are played like if they were one string.I think courses have more resonance than a single string.

  • Usually not nylon, but coiled metal. two strings allow for louder voice to compensate for the mandolin's small body which would otherwise produce a sorry volume. Double strings also make for easier "tremolo," as often heard in traditional Italian music.

  • Simply fantastic! Keep on the good work...

  • beautiful!
