  • @NpNGames lol

  • i love this song nd ye song mere best frnd k liye mujhe ise achha song or koi nahi lagta uske liye love u my dear frnd nd kishore also..

  • And the song completely differs at the note when Kishoreda sings "Jane tu ya jane na"....barring the first two lines which are same as Elvis's (with all respect for the great Elvis)

  • Those who say this is a copy of Elvis's song are actually jealous of the unparalleled Musical heritage of India. They are so limited in their imagination that they fail to realize that in the world of Music different cultures enrich each one's music by assimilation. Had there been no such experiments in Music, we would have turned as blunt as the Elvis followers are now. Salute to RD for whatever he created, all are as sweet as nectar.

  • I saw this movie yesterday on Zoom and watched it from the middle. I had missed this one but watched the version in which the little kid sings with Shashi. It was sooo touching! I came to check out the original. Both are awesome. Such a classic and lovely song!

  • I love this song becoz when i listen this particular song My old day(College Days) to my mind..... I will never forget you Ap.....ta...

  • love the oldies... just the fashion and the bollywood women were 'beautiful' not trying too hard to be sexy..

this is the song where the movie janne tu ya jaane na is referring to..

  • kabhi juda hona nahi............

  • Elvis Presley must be credited, not Burman. Yellow Rose of Texas

  • @leteveryoneknow WTH ? there's hardly any resemblance between this n yellow rose of texas....keep your opinion to yourself

  • @dheeraj997 dheeraj rakho! And patiently listen to yellow rose of texas. Its unbelievable that you can not find resemblance between the tunes in each song. Burman certainly was heavily inspired by the tune originally drawn out by Presley.

  • @leteveryoneknow hehe i'm just fine ! as i said there's very little resemblance...just the basic few notes...at most u can it may have influenced Burman but saying that Elvis should be credited for this song is way over the line.

  • @leteveryoneknow I agree with you. I wonder why one can't find the 'resemblance' there. I'd actually heard Yellow Rose of Texas before I heard this song. I remember my mother telling me about how similar the two are, and a lot of other songs which, apparently great, were 'inspired' by music from around the world.

  • i never knew this was actually a song...i thought they made it up for that film

  • JAANE TU YA JAANE NA !!!!SALEH I LOVE U HAYATY....I WISH I COULD TRANSLATE THEM TO U N MKE U FEEL HOW FORTUNATE IT IS TO FALL IN LOVE WIT U ANA AHEBIK ....

  • I just love this song, its very Romantic........

  • guyz this is not copy plz dont make shity comment here

  • Beautiful lyrics...n strange is this life!!!~

  • It is true sometimes we meet someone with whom we are having Karmic connection. And it is also true that sometimes the other does not feel strongly as we can feel for him. This is indeed a very beautiful song which connects us with the feeling of past lives. Thanks sarkasticgenius for this amazing upload.

  • good one but sorry to say one more copy tune by RDB

  • I love it , I have been fallen in love with a nepali girl, I can forget her even a second form my mind. may be we have been known each in our life before!

  • Such a lovely song, touches old strings and remind all those nostalgic moments.

  • most awesome song of the century!!!!!!!!!!!11 love it like anything

  • It is not a copy. Just mukhda is inspired by the Yellow Rose. Rest of the song is different. Even the rhythm is different. Melody is much more complete.

  • love this song :)

  • Kishore magic continues.......

  • yar i love it..great voice great music & sweet..

mera us se hai pehle ka nata koi ..jaane "wo " ya jane na.. :)

  • A nice song ... best lyrics.. Sharmilatagore very nice..

  • love this song kishor kumar is so great

  • lovely song

  • Every musician is inspired from some note or the other. The notes of the universe don't belong to anyone. RD did a particular arrangement that may have had a passing resemblance to the Elvis song but to call it a copy is a bit too much. This was inspired composing. Read wide and deep about RD and you will realize that he was in the same league as Mozart for his musical arrangements. A genius for the ages.

  • Lovely song.. one of my favorites...but I really don't understand the reason of wearing that stupid red muffler in that idiotic manner all through the song!! I find it extremely irritating!!!

  • Great song. Thanks for posting.

  • very nice song

  • love this song very much

  • Oh the memories of those Snowy Days in India! Especially during the summer months! Whiskey-Tango-Foxtrot...The Purpose Is?....

  • This musical movie has made millions of Algerians crying beside their TV set in the seventeenth. I do not know of any Algerian who did not watch it and got profoundly touched by it for years and years: It's a CHEF D'OEUVRE, no question about that. Indian romantic films are the BEST in the world. On true sentimental movies Bollywood have left Hollywood miles and miles behind.

    Shame on you.

If u think so why are you watching this video I dont understand.

RD and KK are truly Legend.

We can never get some one like them.

  • well agreed its been copied, but from Jaane tu yaa jaane naa lines its all been Panchamda's own stuff, which has been embedded very well along with original tune of yellow rose of texas, any ways how many songs in the world are original, there are very good chances you will find some what similar tune every where.

  • song had two versions. The grown up version was sung by Kishore Kumar and it was picturised on Shashi Kapoor and Sharmila Tagore as a nature song -as it was picturised on hills. The other version of the song was a party song and it had a kid singing in addition to Kishore Kumar. Kishore Kumar once again sings for Shashi Kapoor whereas the kid Sushma Shreshtha sang for Master Tito

  • i tried covering this on my guitar..one of my all time all time favorite..see in my channel

  • @BOMBAYMANN2 ..Sushma Shrestha is the real name of Poornima a Nepali singer

  • uhhh..i just love this song very2 much!!

  • from where it had been copied can you explain

  • @rajpritish its been copied frm the folk song "yellowrose of texas"... u can search it on youtube itself...anyways this is a beautiful song even if its copied !!!

  • @abhylash83 COPIED?????? U r music deaf. It is definitely inspired. First 2 lines r inspired and even those r much more complete. Rest is all R D Burman. Stupid.

  • @manimajra1 , You're probably one of those snobs who always think low for any Indian's rare feat. What a lovely song given by RD, this type of comment is not just acceptable. OK if U find or have that original post it here kindly. We 'll be thankful to U.

  • @mayajamjam Please read the message carefully before replying. And read abhlash8's comment also. U will realize how wrong u r.
