  • 30GB LOL

  • hey mate what was the resolution you used for the final render? and how long was your render time? (processor speed)

  • 30...... GI.... GABYIE.... EEEIITES?!!!

  • im guessing blender is expensive :I

  • @9911MU51C Actually its free,go to blender(dot)org

  • @9911MU51C haha blender is free and open source....

  • Muito legal

  • FAKE!

  • @appleobsessed1 that's what blender does you moron

  • @satishux Haha, you fell for it! I didn’t actually think it was “fake” or some shit. I was trollin dude! And what the hell do you mean by blender does that? Blender takes real life images and makes them look fake? :/ I think not.

  • @appleobsessed1 fk u faggot

  • @Jack1998blue PFFFHAHAHAHA YOU FELL FOR IT! I know it was fake I was trollin you. Just you. Heheheh. Have a nice day!

  • sick

  • Blender smoke, Don't breathe this.

  • why no 0.09 ?

  • Good work!

  • fake

  • @antho836 NO EFFIN WAY!!!

  • what are u saying 30 GB !!!!!!!!

  • @ugamer20 simulators are very demanding. They to simulate interacting particles. This is why it needs 30 gb. I've seen simulations taking up to 200 GB for 10 sec of movie. Baking in these situations as well as rendering everything up could take from 1 to several days for only seconds of video on a high-end computer.

  • @ugamer20 Reallistic effects are killing computers we have at homes. Only supercomputers can handle them in minutes... for now... think of AVATAR. 35K processors, 2 Petabytes of space for the movie! That's a lot!

  • @TitanaMaster o yeaaaaaaa!!!

  • @picassopainter2 everyone else is right. When you bake in blender it stores the voxels in your HDD. It takes up a ton of space. Even if you don't bake and go straight to render, it still takes up a ton of space. Lol you're making yourself look really stupid here.

  • Dumbass divided by 0 again.

  • tutorial and i ll be amazed :D

  • If cigarettes could do that, they would be so much more popular.

  • well with effects like that taking up 30gigs or more each be glad there's tec around that can handle it

  • @blipblipblur What are you talking about? 30gb of what? HDD space? Not true. A full 1080p movie isn't 30gb. Any other time of memory isn't actually used up so that makes no sense.

  • @picassopainter2 THE BAKE MEMORY TO STORE ALL THE SIMULATION DATA TOOK UP 30 GBS OF HARD DRIVE SPACE.

  • @HFdemofilms Trolling?

  • @picassopainter2 i think it is 30gb of hdd that blender uses to store, read and swap around information to calculate this scene.

  • @xLiiLT No sir. Bledner does not use HDD space beyond installing it. He's talking about RAM but it's not really "taken up".

  • @picassopainter2 oh okay :L

  • @picassopainter2 He is talking about the voxel data used to simulate the smoke, not the actual blender file or movie file. Voxels require massive amounts of hdd space. If you don't know what they are, google it.

  • @ACBStudios It has to do with RAM, sorry but that's a fact. HDD space isn't used by Blender or I would be out at least 100 gb by now.

  • @picassopainter2 Hdd space is used to store smoke simulation data in whats called a cache. This is how blender saves smoke sim data. if you "bake" a smoke sim in blender, in the directory where your .blend file is saved a new folder will appear. This folder will be called something like "blendcache." This is the thing that takes up 30gbs. Everyone who is correcting you is telling the truth.

  • wow that looked epic man

  • Amazingly epic :) But 30gb disk space to bake? Holy hell

  • 30GB? LOLCOOOOOOOL

  • God damn it, spilled coke all over m keyboard -.-

  • THAT IS ONE HUGE COCK!!!

  • Surely this raped the hell out of your RAM

  • @Polaf3456 That was his RAM.

  • people should say that they learn't it of the andrew price

  • @Monty40254 who is andrew price?

  • @b1tTutorials Andrew Price is a youtube user who uploads cool stuff he made on blender, his username is AndrewPPrice

  • did anyone else jizz in their pants?

  • heheeh it looks good.

  • deam

  • OH GOD what did you eat. BLAUUGHH!

  • Amazing.

  • MAYBE ITS FRIENDLY!!!!!!!

  • @Pedr6500 LOL @ Avatar reference...

  • how in the hell you did it?! i have never found a way to create smoke .-.

  • @trasmethrash only in 2.5

  • plzplzlpzlpzlpzlpzlz do a tutorial

  • This would be good for a Nuke.

  • Very Nice.

  • 3ds max? cade já era kkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • @leosmi1 That would be intresting concidering that the title says Blender.

  • @Wireheadking No, I said, 3d Max? Where was already ... Got it?

  • WTF BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

  • TUTORIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLL!!!!!!!!!!

  • WOOOOHOOOOO MUSHROOM CLOUD!!!

  • can you tell me how to change the color of the particles as the time line moves forward as you did here.the color changed from orange to gray.

  • realistic at the end but not at the beginning. Hey, can any1 help me? I have a mac w/ blender and when i choose to render my animation i can't find it on my desktop. Am I just doin it wrong?

  • can u post smoke settings pls?

  • That's what it looks like when I take a dump

  • And that's how I lost my job at the power plant.

  • @paul200638 and how that nuclear war started...wait...*calls cia*

  • @paul200638 And your life at the same time

  • holy shit tut!!

  • 720p? fail high resolution 30gb? that's not possible I have a video longer than this one in 1080p HD and it's only 1 gb lol

  • @4FunPlayin

The movie files isn't 30gb, the image that was baked onto the model was 30gb, which makes sense given how extraordinarily complex an animation like this would be.

  • @4FunPlayin I believe u fail sir, he was clearly talking about the size of the bake files used by blender to store the particle effect BEFORE rendering

  • 30GB?

Jesus, bust out the RAID_6 array with over 16TB disk space!

  • That looks awesome! How long did it take (Bake+Render)?

  • freakin awesome

  • 30 GB? Damn

  • wow looks nice, my shit comp cant handle animating nething good

  • how to do this, plz, do a tutorial

  • SICK MAN GREAT WORK

  • Hey, what's this button for?

  • @snipperbes lol

  • BADASS!

It looks like something you'd see in the teaser for a Fallout game.

  • Wow thats insane. Amazing that it took 30Gb of space, but it was well worth it, best 'nuke' cloud Ive ever seen in blender.

Can you share some ideas on how you did it? I havent had much chance yet to play with smoke in 2.5

  • what hardware use it to make this and how long need to render this ?

    Thanks

  • tats better than the smoke in drakes fortune on the ps3, well done! 30gb of space well used

  • that's crazy!! nice

  • O.O wow nice job! Tutorial please :D

  • My computer crashes every time on smoke, bummer.

  • @MikeHornett Make sure to have lots of RAM. Is it the case?

  • Got 4Gb

  • NUKE!

  • very good

  • Holy smokes!

  • very coool but ot perfect

  • Awesome

    Tutorial

  • How did you get it to cast a shadow... and glow?

  • tutorial plzzz

  • WOW!

got a tutorial coming up for that?

  • Awesome! :)
