well offensively they did just enough to take the lead at 14-10. But you can't give up two touchdowns in the 4th Quarter, and when you have a chance to sack a QB you have to do it, defensively the Giants played very well, their offense just didn't have that big play to beat the Giants,

When people say the Giants were better than the Patriots, just remember who finished 16-0 during the regular season by beating the Giants in week 17. The GIants won, but the PAtriots were the better team, it's to tough mentally and physically to win every single game, their defense was overrated last year, and it finally cost them a game which so happened to be the superbowl. Their defense didnt cost them the game last year ya dip. They only gave up 17 points. The offense which scored almost 40 points a game all year couldnt muster up anything against the giants defense. They were physically out played and lost to the better team. Deal with it.

And as for their dissapointing year this year, the AFC east actually had teams that belonged in the NFL this year so the Pats couldnt just steamroll their way to the playoffs. They actually had a challenge, and failed.

I think it was only right that the patriots lost because of the whole geting caught cheating earlier in the season. even if the pats would have won they would have had to deal with people saying that the patriots cheated to get the wins because of the video taping incident. that is the type of comments that they would have had to put up with. plus i luv the underdogs, so way to go underdog NY Giants. even though i cant believe i actually rooted for a NY team for the first time in my life.

this has been a pretty bad year for new york with the mets collapse(ima huge met fan) and also the yankees comeing short in the playoffs and the knicks just stink... this makes up for all this im 19 years old and this is the first time my team wins a championship and i got to see it with my dad... to all giants fans and people from the NY/NJ this is great and i hope u guys enjoyed the game as much as i did...One of the greatest super bowls of all time!!!!!
