I lived in snowy climate for 5 years before moving to sunny California. I learned that the best way to get out of the snow is to rock the car back and forth. Having someone to give it a push (like pushing someone on a swing) will help, but most of time no push is necessary. One can often rock the car out of the snow without external help. In this video, he had more clearance in front than behind. He could have drove off by going forward.  But it was funny to rip off the tail like that. LOL
