John Voight (the guy who does the cliff climbing) later went on and starred in "The Runaway Tain", circa 1986, about a train disaster in Alaska which became a smash box-office hit; also featuring Eric Roberts as a supporting actor, the movie recieved many highly acclaimed critisms. Please check it out!!!
This scene follows the rape scene because Lewis' leg wasn't broken when he pumped the arrow into the inbred dickie; they later continued down the stream when the current became much stronger...Then, Lewis' canoe broke apart and he ended up with a broken leg bone!
@Vlashchenko My father used to love to canoe while growing up and during college. after this movie came out he said the same thing. that he started bringing his sidearm with him whenever he went out. he was from arkansas and loved the buffalo.
@Vlashchenko If this movie had made any meaningful impression on you, you wouldn't require the law's permission to arm and defend yourself. This movie is all about what happens when there is no law.
Amazing what an ordinary man can do when he has to! Would greatly appreciate it if someone would put up this excellent, unique movie. I doubt if anyone would mind, as it is quite old now. Funny how I seem never to have had the opportunity of recording it from TV.

my favorite scene of the movie, when he wakes up to that toothless man just lookin over the cliff. Then he gets his ass taken out.

No stunt men in this film, all the actors had to do their own stunts, and stunts that they did pretty well, it shows too :)
