probably started from a candle or a kerosene lantern when they were trying to get light during the power outage that you said had happened in the description
That model of mobile homes are the biggest fire danger to. That i can tell is a 1971 aluminum wire. Any mobile home you see with the fancy slats as siding there the most dangerous ones!
wow you could of made interior on that no problem. i had a fire in a singlewide about a month ago. im a volunteer so i was only one on line. i knocked the fire down in 2 mins and when backup came about 3 mins later we were overhauling the fire.
This was bad. What the video does not show is the heavy involvement on the backside of the structure. I believe this was all in district without mutual aid and a less than 10 minute response for the first in units.
all they did was push the fire through the whole house when if they went in and pushed out they could have made it to where the family had some belonging left but they pushed it thru the house and lost everything
Huh... go into a WELL involved double wide mobile with limited personnel on arrival... dont think so there slick those damn fire boxes arent worth my guys lives if they are unoccupied. Incident priorites for all incidents go as follows; 1: Life Safety, 2: Incident Stabilization, 3: Property Conservation.
The mobile was fully involved. Both lines were pulled for exposure on both sides. Once the exposures were controlled then the remaining tank water was placed on the windows causing the exposure problem. Once the hydrant was made, 2 1/2 inch lines were placed and the fire was tapped. There was no pushing fire.....it was fully involved, evacuated and unsalvagable. The building had multiple O2 tanks on the porch and a cryo tank inside. This is all know due to multiple previous alarms .
I can tell you that mobile homes typically burn much faster than most homes. Rooms are usually much closer together than with most homes. I can tell you that due to a crawlspace, just because the fire isn't visibually showing the back being burned, it doesn't mean that it isn't burning. It could be burning underneath. I've lived in 3 mobile homes in my life, and know how fast fires spread in them. I haven't lost a home to fire, but know people who have.
Yeah, as opposed to wooden houses, not combustible at all... If the fire was power-related, most likely cause is a candle used during the outage, I'd say. Or maybe they had gas heating and so on.
That was a neighbor pissed off because I was "standing on the edge of his driveway", and he didn't want his house on video. In the unedited version you would hear me tell him I had no interest in his property, and it should be very obvious what I was filming.

I hated living in mobile houses, too combustible, and never can be fireproofed.

I wish my Dutch sectional home would burn down.
The companies lack of service and the repairs ruined me.
