Versa Spa Spray Tan - 1st time - My Experience w/ pictures!! Before & After

lol I hate when sales people are so pushy... and now it leaves them with a bad review that's passed onto 6655 other people who will probably avoid the chain as well. The tan did look pretty good though!

At the Mystic Tan here we're are told to rub it in with a towel right after the tan. I am surprised they didn't tell you!

i think you just went to a bad place most tanning places do have posters one the walls that tell you the different positions to get in and also include a prep first(which is actually sprayed on rather than a lotion you apply on yourself) and spray you with another spray after your tan as well to prolong your tan

I used to work at a tanning salon that was high end all about sales. And yeah no one ever comes in just for free we always tried to sell everything to them. So I know how you feel atleast I was a nice salesperson which is why i sold so much haha. Hope you did like it I LOVE spray tanning but I do prefer mystic and yea Versa is Hella cold!

I love versa- so much better than mystic. For the versa- the bronze one makes me spotty- I usually do the clear one because i dont have that same effect. I have been doing it for about a year and I love it!

@Lisasz09 hey lisa! A few of my friends told me they had spotting with the bronzer. Next time Im going to try the clear. Hopefully that will be better!

You look fabulous in your bikini & tan <3 I just did the Bare Est Faux Tan , and of course got some on my hands even with the brush , So I had to use a Magic Eraser to turn my tan palms back to normal !!! Kinda !!! lol <3 ~Mary

I did this Free HD tann as well. I Loved it and was very pleased. I watched a YT video on self tanning and she gave a tip to remove the self tanner with whitening tooth paste it worked REALLY well. :o)

I used my free tanning session @ At the Beach in my area. I used the Versaspa. I used level 2 because I am very light. I am happy with it, although I would like it to be a little darker. Mine turned out pretty even. At the Beach in my area provided a free barrier cream to use on my hands and feet. They did try to sell me a few lotions and a membership. I just told them I wanted to try it out first. Overall I would do it again or even regularly, altough I think it is a bit expensive.

I'm so glad you took my advice. Mystic tan was a disturbing experience for me for SO many reasons. I would NEVER do it again. I bought 2 for 1 Mystic tans and gave away my 2nd one cause I wouldn't do it again. Now it looks like Versa spray tan is VERY similar to Mystic tan.

LOL at how cold it is. Isn't it horrible? The spay is startling, its freeeeezing and it reeks! Blah.

You had to buy all that stuff? Lame.

The only spray tanning I've ever done is at salons where they do it by hand.. it seems awkward at first but they do it all the time and it gives such even color.. also they don't use an orange base. I've never had a bad experience with it!

I did the spray tan and the stuff settled in my pores too. And when it started to come off you could really see it in my pores looked horrible was really splotchy when it came off. Hopefully yours turns out better.

use a whitening toothpaste and a dry wash cloth to remove self tanner on your hands. :)

ur tan looks gr8 luv.. i hope it washed off nicely for u.. u should check out mystic hd its meant to be heated ive only ever done mystic it was good but i wanna try versa to im gonna check my place first to see if they supply everything and that its heated too coz i heard it was and that they also dry u off in the booth? also for ur tan hands scrub them with toothpaste preferably a whitening one it should take everything off i usually do it straight after i tan a couple of times :)

I did the HD mystic tan and it was amazing!  Isn't the versa spa heated? The HD mystic tan is. I would not go back to the same place again if I were you. Most places have the barrier cream, wipes, nose plugs, hair nets and all right in the room for free. I would try another place next time! Your tan looks good though!

it sounds like they need to clean their bronzing thing out..you shouldn't be spotty. you should find a place who does the 3 step process.. 1-prep spray, 2- tan spray, 3-lotion spray. also, my place put heaters in the booth which is AWESOME! :)

I disagree, Mystic Tan has worked fabulously for me every time I've gone!
