lolz...anyway...still want to see it...since they promised that they'll use the revival version of Varga from 1980's not the Darna prototype...which is nice...they also did the lil girl to super-hero transformation...like how it was in the Darna movies...is this showing already?
The objective of producing the shows is NOT to beat the fame of Darna & Captain Barbell.
ABS-CBN didn't create Varga. Mars Ravelo did.
Varga came first before Mr. Ravelo decided to change Varga into what we now know as Darna when he transferred to another publisher years ago.
If anyone else is worried about copycat superheroes, it's too late because everyone who's truly familiar with the genre knows that CaptainBarbell & Darna are just Pinoy versions of CaptainMarvel & WonderWoman.
Sana merong Darna vs Varga crossover kasi dapat sila magkita :D at yung Darna dapat si Angel Locsin sa ABS CBN rather than Marian Rivera.

Book 1 of Kapitan Boom's finale back to back with Varga's pilot was last Saturday. There will be a Book 2 of Kapitan Boom later.
Today would be Varga's 2nd weekly episode.
