  • Phillip Toriello did a video for Livestrong as well, except he said to utilize your whole body in the kick.

  • Yeah you need to undulate and that means drive from your core which engages everything "downstream" I would NOT use a kick board unless you cannot get your hands on a swimmers' snorkel.

Also try to focus on the UP kick as well - just like real dolphins

  • DONT USE THIS VIDEO...YOUR KICK DOES NOT, I REPEAT, DOES NOT COME FROM YOUR QUADS. YOU USE YOUR CORE.

DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS VIDEO.

  • check out the great training equipment by RRACE.net

  • What kind of swimming teacher does their butterfly kick with their knees?A bad one.

  • lmao!!!!!he look gay with the noodle

  • your not supposed to use a kickboard for dolphin kick

  • you fix your upper back with putting both arms forward so it doesn't move, or maybe a bit. So the fixpoint for the movement is right below your rips. Your lower back will always move with the movement of both legs. But what he wants to say I think is that most of the power should come out of your quadriceps. Otherwise you can get back problems.

When you swim freestyle you can fix your hips and lower back with the oppositional movement of your feet.

  • Why ?Arent we suppose to use the hip and the legs will follow ?I dont agree on this one

  • poor!
