  • He deserved a touchdown either way

  • Pretty cool.

  • awww thats just awesome he checked on the kid

  • Mardy, Two Requests:

1.) Get us some yards on Kickoffs and Do a better job than Steve Smith.

2.) Do the same thing in this video, and "accidentally" crash into Jason Garret or Tom Coughlin.

Thanks! Welcome to Philly! READY TO SEE YOU IN THAT MIDNIGHT GREEN!!! BLEED IT GREEN!

  • Good to see the player show some heart. I just watched a clip of a NBA player smashing into ladies on the sideline, and none of the players bothered to check on their welfare.

  • Mad hops

  • that was nice

  • Hittin that kid and it wasnt even a TD

  • @mikerp23 dude funniest comment ever!

  • this is great. i love all the intensity of football but for a player to forget about himself and whether he was in bounds or not to check if a kid is ok is just awesome

  • and the player thinks hes hurt

  • Well who's idea was it to leave a big ass hole in the wall?

  • is the football okay?

  • i though the kid had blood on his face when they picked him up but when i saw tha there bas black on the other half of his face i realized it was paint.

  • Mardy Gilyard is class act!!

  • Thats a good man.

  • Awwww!

  • And he didnt get the touchdown fail

  • Dangit! He didn't even get the touchdown!!

  • seeing guys like this makes me think that not all jocks are bad. i take my hat off to you Mardy Gilyard

  • So.... is it a touchdown.

  • I wouldn't ever touch a kid in an oh*o hat...

  • um so freaking cute :)

  • :)

  • no ones there to fucking catch him??

  • I'm just surprised the overzealous NCAA refs didn't flag him 15 yards for taking his helmet off voluntarily before getting to his sideline.

  • @mrmacross Thats really not that funny.

  • At least theres some people in Cincinnati with a heart

  • 1. That is a terribly designed stadium.

    2. When was the last time USF was in the top 25?

  • nigga stole my kid

  • sad thing is .. he didnt even get a touchdown /:

  • lol when i saw that kid"s face i was freaken to death i though it was blood...

  • that sucks, he lost his footing then couldn't stop himself lol poor kid.

  • well by rules, his foot was out of bounds so its definately not a touchdown

  • @666ImThEBeAsT666 lol thats what i was check too, idk if his foot was in the air when he caught it or was it still touching. lol i kept replaying it! i still cant tell tho lol

  • Obviously a man to be made a role model out of. Damn the play, but make sure the kid is okay. You, sir, are a good guy. Bless You.

  • haha the one spot in the wall where its open is where he goes through

    hes a good guy

  • Now thats a true Football player right there !

  • I loved watching Gilyard. He was such a good player, and you can see how nice he is.

  • I bet at 0:55, the player thought "no wall"!! wtf

  • how could this get dislikes?

  • Statistically, black people commit hate crimes more frequently than any other race.

  • @MrsFunsocks According to black people, it's actually just that police happen to arrest black people more frequently than any other race.

  • @superman32101 pftt i find black people hilarious on this bullshit. even if you were arrested just for being black what ever charges they are putting against you will never hold up in court, and even if it does there are appeals and such. a crime will never stick without evidence.

  • @TJPesce420 Absolute lies. First off, there is something deeply unjust and immoral about our nation saying it's OK to allow cops to target and harass people solely for being black. But you're full of it in saying it won't "hold up in court", blacks are FAR more likely to be prosecuted, and get FAR more punishment for exactly the same crimes. Troy Davis was just murdered by the state of Georgia for a crime there was substantial question about. Far from the only one.

  • @ColumbiaCowboy Ok so one time justifies what?

In case no one gave you the memo, there are black judges in the system.... It's like saying the grass in my yard keeps tigers away, just because there are no tigers in my yard. Yes it technically true, but that doesn't mean there aren't outside factors. Instead of saying it's the courts fault for convicting so many black folk, maybe say it's the black race as a whole with participating in illegal activities. Complete ridiculousness saying black

  • @ColumbiaCowboy people are more likely to be arrested for apparently nothing.

  • Atleast he hugged him . . . (:

  • Lol USF vs Cincy

    Kid: "Go Ohio State!"

  • i wouldn't be surprised if that player was a dad. he realizes the helmet is making him look scary so he takes it off. makes me smile. :)

  • @analogWeapon revealing a head of black hair that was probably more scary XD nahh but good on him

  • i wanna move to america so bad, the sports just look so damn cool

  • Out of all the walls that protect the fans, he goes through the hole :D

  • awwww he had a heart

  • at least he hug him back

  • that was really really nice of him :)

  • Aww well done.

  • good nigga!

  • that kid is crying in joy not pain!!!

  • I met Mardy at Rams Camp this year. He's truly a great person but it really sucked the Rams cut him.

  • I love how he rips that helet off and give that kid a big ass hug:)

  • That awful... The pass was Incomplete

  • he actually cares wat he did instead of just walking back on to the field like nothin happened

  • What the hell is up with people always pointing out race on YouTube? I mean, damn, it's obvious he's black, we can SEE! It's like people use this as an opportunity to be all around assholes. I'm not one of those color blind people, because there's nothing wrong with being whatever you are...but to always point it out as if all a person is, is their color pisses me off. Is their something so wrong with just making a comment about the MAN!

  • good guy. LETS GO BULLS!

  • aww hes so nice

  • Damn he's a good guy

  • That is just gruesome to look at..... he caught it out of bounds.

  • wow that was so nice of him he should get touch down becuz of his act of kindness

  • they should jst give touchdown for his sportsmanship :_

  • here's a good idea: DONT PUT A HOLE IN THE ENDZONE WALL U RETARDS

  • @1234Iloveguns they do tht in case fans run out on the field after the game.

  • Wow, kinda got choked up there. Truely a class act Mr Gilyard, --truely a class act.

  • Why is the wall that close to the end zone?

  • Clearly out of the bounds on the play.

  • This guy could use something we call playing time and more respect in St. Louis.

  • class act

  • this is why he is number 1

  • godd guy

  • Says alot about his character to do that... He's much more of a man than most other athletes

  • Great class. It's always nice to see a football player who puts himself on the same level as fans.

  • he had a foot on the line when he caught the ball so would that count as a touchdown?

  • @hitmanthe2nd no, he has to have 1 foot in bounds, he was out.

  • YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHWWWWWWWWWWWW-BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • thats real nice ya but he has some hands thow

  • i knew i forgot close sumthing dammit

  • no touchdown

  • he looked like he was out of bounds

  • class act.

  • that was amazing. the catch and the check. hes a true football player. and true man.

  • that kid said "holy shit, i just gut hugged by a huge black man"

  • @laxmania3 -_-

  • @hockeybabexxx

    too soon?

  • @laxmania3 no just uncalled for

  • @hockeybabexxx

    maybe...

  • It would be cool to be able to say Mardy Gilyard plowed into me when I was 7 years old.

  • That is a terribly designed stadium

they should either add more distance between the endzone and wall, or make it taller with padding.

  • @football5680, I totally agree. There wasn't even a wall at that spot to stop a player from running/falling into the stands and hurting not only them but the people in the stands. Luckily the kid appeared to be alright and I thought it was sweet that the player immediately worried about the kid and removed his helmet to check on him

  • @arohn2007 Yeah I have never seen a stadium that was designed that badly. Pro Stadiums have distance, padding, and taller walls so fans and players don't get hurt. Having a low wall that close to the endzone is just asking for players and fans to get hurt.

  • @football5680 What surprises me is that the heads of college football teams don't regulate how their stadiums are designed like in order to protect player and fan safety. I would hope that would be their first objective. Commisioner Goodall wouldn't allow Pro Stadiums to be like this stadium in the video and neither should the heads of college football. I have tour Lambeau Field in Green Bay so I know what you mean by higher walls and padding. If its used for the Pros why isn't used in college

  • @football5680 It shouldn't matter if they Pros are making tons of money and college players don't make any. It still doesn't make the sport any less dangerous

  • Comment removed

  • No touchdown.

  • It was nice wen he huged him

  • the kid coughed out blood in the end

  • Mardy gilyard is nice, i met him in real life, he came to our practice one day , (btms bull dogs) he was telling us he got drafted to the rams and what not. he was teaching the corner backs stuff. He's a nice guy.

  • Nice move Gilyard, class act!

  • Thats what that kid gets for wearing an Ohio state beanie to a UC Bearcat Game!!!!

  • what a good man that is a real man

  • thats sad but so sweet of Mardy

  • wish i could be blessed by mardy gilyard.

  • yea it was designed terribly...probably because it is the 2nd oldest stadium in college football...not much you can change about that

  • The NFL certainly needs more heroes and role models. Mardy Gilyard is fitting both labels so far!!

  • its funny cuz he was out of bounds! and black xD

  • For all you racist scum out there. . You see African Americans are nice people

  • @brightassfuture805 African Americans can be good people. There is a difference between them and niggers.

  • @BlooDragon009 ain't that the motherfucking truth

  • @BlooDragon009

There is a difference between white people and redneck crackers like you and the douchebags who liked this retarded ass comment

  • @OrangeFanta02 Exactly. Every race has stereotypes. You just can't accept that.

  • @BlooDragon009 I fuckin love how someone brings race and stereotypes into this, you're a class act dude. Fucking hilarious.

  • @BlooDragon009 White people can be good people too, just really damn hard to prove it when we have people like you blastin dumb shit like this.

  • @3493ATM How am I *blasting* dumb shit? All I stated is that there are differences in races. And then you got hostile for no reason.

  • @BlooDragon009 The only reason race got brought up was because he was black. If he was white you wouldn't see a comment stating: "European Americans can be good people. There's a difference between them and Semi-Retarded White Trash, =]."

I just think it's messed up when the REAL concern are the fucking Jews who designed the shit stadium. Damm.

  • @3493ATM 1. I didn't bring up race, I simply drew attention that all people are different.

    2. Why are Jewish people being brought into this?

    3. Yes, you are correct about the stadium.

  • @3493ATM he wasnt even bagging on white people, shut the fuck up bro, im white and pieces of shit like you make me wish i wasnt

  • @BlooDragon009 Ignorant fuck

  • @NMH34 Actually, I'm quite open to topics, which is why I stated there are all kinds of people.

  • @BlooDragon009

could u be any more racist u ass

  • @timthomasisbeast I could, but I choose not to be as racism is very unkind towards other races. I was merely referencing a derogatory term for African Americans who are mainly racist towards others, and then complain about stereotypes. African Americans on the other hand, speak as normal human beings and respect others.

  • @BlooDragon009

hey retard i know that why did u post there is a difference between african americans and nigers u r a racist scum

  • @timthomasisbeast Because there is a difference.

  • @BlooDragon009

plese tell me what the god damn difference is

  • @timthomasisbeast First off, you sound pretty racist yourself if you think all African Americans are alike. Second, the difference is that the term *nigger* is used for African Americans who are generally deemed unpleasant by others. African Americans are Americans with African roots. Simple as that.

  • @BlooDragon009

hey u dumb ass first i am black second it is like u a nice white person white and a mean one a dumb fuck

  • @timthomasisbeast Look, I have NOTHING against African Americans. And you are right, white people have stereotypes too. I am ashamed of certain people of my race.

  • that collision with the kid was for nothing, the catch was out of bounds lol

  • I hope Mardy was okay.

  • you know, cause hugs have healing powers, some say even better than law suits

  • @12createaccount Law suite for what?

  • @staples341534 DAW DUITES DOR DHAT?

  • @12createaccount hahahahah

  • Wow that stadium is designed terribly.

    luckiley gilliard didnt get hurt.

  • That was still a really nice thing to do.

  • Aww that was so sweet.!(:

  • Incomplete

  • Guys putting up the walls have a converstion

First guy: Where's the last board greg?

Second guy AKA greg: I don't know its not like anyone will run through it and run some kid over!

    first guy: Yeah probably right.

  • some one get that kids a uniform.. he took that hit like a champ.. little tears but he got up !!..

  • There just so happens to be a hole is the wall? LMFAO

  • @b0507996 only you would be so gay to want him to ram into you.

  • i would of taken the hit to hug him

  • There was no space from the corner end-zone to the stands for an athlete running fulls speed, poorly designed corner of the end-zones.

On the other hand good sportsmanship to take of his helmet and respect the kid and parent by hugging him.

  • @monzanoman The stadium is very old and is literally right in the middle of campus so they didnt have the thought of building the wall further out and they cant fix it very easily.

  • like ive never seen that before..."is the ball ok"

  • @2riceaters Your a dick.

  • @SShelbyII your a dick

  • Is the ball okay?

  • @2riceaters yeah dude stop trying to be funny. ur just an ass.

  • Man, if only the QB didn't overthrow the ball. Woulda been an easy touchdown.

  • I agree with joeshermer83, that is respectful!! AND, he removed his helmet so the kid would not be so scared, classy!

  • player: sorry little guy i was trying to hit on your dad

    child: *sniif* really? ;(

    player: REAALLY :D

  • @joeshermer83 how the hell is that sportsmanship?

  • at least he was sorry to that kid and gave him a hug. great guy

  • thats an all around good guy

  • That would've been the best Touchdown celebration ever.

  • wow.. ! :D !

  • The price you gotta pay for Front row seats... a future retarded son.

  • OMG!!!! He didnt make the touchdown... Oh yea the kid he'll be fine

  • thats so sweet...in such a non-homo way!

  • Shoulda gave him the touchdown for being so nice

  • that kid has quite a story to tell

  • classy, my man, classy. :)

  • Yay, I caught it! SHIT!

  • love it that the kid was all done up in red paint and team colors.

    baptism by fire.

  • no touchdown....

  • mardy gilyard my fave receiver now! i know sportsmanship is what many athletes have but i never saw this from any athlete ever!!! awesome man!

  • The layout of that stadium could have been done more safely

If the kid is all right then everything is gravy but I hope for the next game there's some higher walls and higher seating

  • press 8

  • aaaww man he had to feel terrible after hitting that kid on accident lol. I'd feel like an
