@djsephy - Glad you liked it. Looks like I'll be going to New Orleans for a follow up performance. Since I now know the track list, I'll be better prepared for filming.
@daveydemontexas - Quite an amazing accomplishment. I'm not a percussionist, but I have friends that are. Pratt is by far one of the most difficult (and yet most rewarding) teachers, so I'm told.
Amazing show, it was the first Rush concert ive been to....i would go again in a heartbeat.....i won 4 tickets for the show and took some musicians with me...we had so much fun, they really put on a great show,,,,,,HOOKED ON RUSH
@gypsyflowerchild - Welcome to the club! We've got jackets! Congrats on winning tickets! They've got so much music, but some of my top choice albums...Hemispheres, Signals, Vapor Trails, Snakes and Arrows... These are a few of my personal favorites and good places to start. Enjoy!
I saw them last night. As usual, some of the elements are the same from show to show like the ending video with the song 'Love For Sale', but it seems this solo is quite a bit different from the solo I saw last night. Maybe he's improvising more. He started last night's with a 3/4 beat, and this starts with 4/4. Interesting. Our man Neil is growing and learning before our eyes and ears it seems.
@iamguitarmutt - Always a pleasure hearing of Professor Pratt's exploits! He did seem a little rusty on this first show in Albuquerque (even dropped a few sticks throughout the show), but understandable. Makes sense that what he'd like to say through his instruments would change through the course of a tour. I've noticed differences myself in seeing different shows at different venues on the same tour. Have fun and thanks for commenting!
@RUSH1200 - What an incredibly cool comment! Thanks! We've got a DJ here (Swamy Rob@94Rock), a MAJOR HUGE Rush fan...hehe, like me. He's been playing Caravan and BU2B pretty much every day since they were made available! Thanks Swamy, and to you RUSH1200!
wow amazing as always and that last futuristic jazz segment was astonishing! My prediction didnt come true, I thought he'd have played the hockey theme at the end, which couldve been so cool.
@uspsionic - Yeah, the new hockey theme would've been cool, guess we'll just have to settle for what he decides to play for us. :) The futuristic jazz segment was animated by Animusic. Check them out, they're Rush fans too!
@BurstElectronicsCEO -yeah but even settling is awesome when talking about Rush. I think my nephew has the animusic dvds and they are really something! Its amazing how many musicians, writers and people from other trades are coming out of the wood work and professing their admiration for Rush!
@uspsionic - Agreed, but in this case, I'd like to think it's Rush's admiration for new artists. :) hehehe, can't wait for Animusic3 to come out. Guess I now know why the DVD has been delayed.
@BurstElectronicsCEO - I'm sorry! Tandem Digital did these effects! Thanks folks for clearing that up for me. It looks so much like Animusic, I mistakenly made an assumption.

What an incredible, unselfish act. THANK YOU for recording and posting this. I am unemployed and probably wont get to see them in Mountain View in August. Thank you so VERY much.
@vaportrails44 - Sorry, I missed about the first 90 seconds fumbling with my camera. I don't know if I'd go so far as to say it was "total garbage", but it did sound like a first run through and perhaps the sound engineer didn't mix in enough low frequency audio (sounded a bit tinney). Gotta love being the first show. :)
@HAKKY2112 - It was a great show! I believe they were trying to work out a BUNCH of bugs though. Hopefully they'll swing back through later in the tour when the set is a bit tighter. The little film shorts at the show opening, after intermission and end of show were hilarious! You'll have a great time!
i love that kit!! just looks like a disney attraction xD

No problemo! I'll post a clean version of the animation soon so you can do a side-by-side analysis. Wait til you see all the goodies in there.
Thanks for clarifying and all the best.

Just for the record, my company did the animation during the solo. Lots of fun for sure, but not related to Animusic.
Hope y'all enjoy the tour!

@rshcry24 No. The solo on A Show of Hands is edited 3 minutes from the one he did on the HYF tour. Here is the entire solo:
They edited it to make the VHS home video at the time 90 minutes.
This solo in 2010 is the pits and a lot of noise. Been a fan since 1980 and let me tell you this is his worst to date.
