Nothing worse than being ambushed by a massive gallic contingent numbering about 1500 troops, watching your 7 star general die and every single one of your legionary, praetorian and urban cohorts.. No matter how many gauls you killed, this music just screams "Haha 14 turns of waiting for your men to come and now theyre dead within 7 mins of battle!"

Playing with the barbarians is fantastic. When I won and play that fantastic song I was like "hell yeah man, drink, eat and dance til the sun rise and chase women around the village!". But when I lose... and this song start, I really lose morale and feel bad about every man I lost in the field.

Fantastic soundtrack, absolutely amazing animations and strategies. RTW is such an epic game of no proportions.

Hearing this reminds me when I was playing as the Julii, I was losing the civil war, and when I saw the Brutii take my capital and saw the smoke that comes from extermination, I was enraged.  I consolidated my forces, retook the city, rebuilt an awesome temple to Jupiter and exterminated all of the Italian cities as punishment, save for Rome which was spared.

I jost lost my faction heir because comp was playing as me (being my allies) because i was trying to protect a city. =( i hate the computer. Who sends in their general/faction heir! to get slaughtered?!

@Metal00m you should try saving your games before each battle and at the end of your turn, my leader died at 59 yrs old so i reloaded and he lived on to pass 76 with ease

I still remember when I lost my first battle how painful was it to listen to the song. I imagine my people, raped, killed, enslaved. Families and relationships torn apart, tears shed and hearts shattered. Life is cruel.

oh so sad this was to me. this ment defeat and humiliation. it os supriseingly huanting and sorrowful. I almost feel as if i was in the ancient populace of those factions mourning loss of souls and battles.
