I always like firebirds. I'd love to own a 67-69 or a 98 and newer. Those were the best looking firebirds. I currently own a 94 camaro and a 73 AMX, so I can't complain too much about not having one.

Some of the SLP high-flow systems have both pipes that exit on the same side of the car. I like one pipe to exit on each side of the car.

its the correct spoiler on it. my dad's has the same year with the same wing, but there were 2 spoilers offered in '85, the one in the picture, and a smaller one like the '82-'83 spoiler, i know this because i found the original spoiler that came on the car.

not acyually cheaper is the chevys at 70,000 and the more exspensive stangs at close to 90,000 but has alotta flaws to it that is that it has a solid rear axle making it harder to turn quickly and skinnier tires makeing it take off slower and it only haveong axle rear brakes

But also look at the ZR1 and Z06's competition. They have cars they compete with that are thousands of dollars more than what they are, and in the ZR1's case, cars that are 100's of thousands of dollars more than it. Ya the GT500KR isnt warrented but the ZR1 IS warrented. GM is becoming(if not IS) a top notch brand. The Corvette will always be the best bang for your buck.

Firebirds and Camaros are identical underneath the sheet metal. Technically the Camaro was the higher end model (had little hp advantages over the Firebird, like 5-10 hp due to the design of the intake. But i don't consider them different personally. And as far as price goes both cost about the same.

Love the second generation 'Birds. You show a 1974 Abmiralty Blue Trans Am identified as a 1975 model. The differences are the wrap-around back window and the parking lights moved up to the grilles for 1975. I have owned 18 second generation Firebirds/Trans Ams, have a 1977 Trans Am now.
